This is my first time making a Christmas Yule Log and I am very pleased with the outcome. The log is basically a chocolate roulade or Swiss roll. In this recipe, I have made it flourless. If you prefer it to be more dense, then add the same amount of flour/caster sugar in it.
Hammamas Review

DIY Fabric Toilet Paper Holder
Recently, I went to the Hillary Blinds craft event in Birmingham to learn how to make a fabric book cover and a bird. Since then, I keen wanting to make a fabric toilet paper holder for the family bathroom toilet. The kids use this toilet the most and it is very plain. We have not yet tackled that room and left it as it was when we bought our home. There is no mirror, shower panels or any pictures. So I took up Hillarys’ craft challenge to use one of their four new fabrics to make something creative.

Almond & Cinnamon Cake
One of my polytechnic Chinese friends from Mauritius has always told us how beautiful his country is. Since then, I have always wanted to visit Mauritius. It possesses a range of natural and man-made attractions, tropical climate just like Singapore and with clear warm sea waters and attractive beaches.
I was thrilled when I received the Winner of Masterchef 2012 Shelina Permalloo’s Sunshine on a Plate cookbook. This book is an introduction to the homely cooking of Mauritius. Looking through the book, I found that there are a few Chinese influences on Mauritius recipes which made me even more excited! Anyway, my hobby is mainly baking cakes and pastries! So I decided to bake an Almond & Cinnamon Cake. This is my first time baking a flourless and gluten free cake. I have no idea if it will taste like an egg sponge. Very much to my surprise, it was excellent! I would definitely bake it again as it requires minimal ingredients.
Choc Nibbles Easter Garden

I am so glad to have this extensive kit from Science4you Chemistry 1000 to help both of my children to explore the world that surrounds them. This kit is suitable for aged 8 onwards so I help them do most of the experiments just in case they hurt themselves.
