Tiger Sheds Dream House

25 July 2014 by Eileen

This competition post is an entry for #TigercubHideout summer blogger by Tiger Sheds.

Tiger Sheds have challenged bloggers to ask their child or on behalf of a friends’ child to draw a picture of their dream house. There are no limits or guidelines here: they want to see the craziest, most whimsical and avant-garde architectural marvels since Gaudi learnt to tile. The child can either draw their dream house by hand or on the computer. When it’s finished, ensure the drawing is labelled so they know what they are looking at.

Finally, upload the drawing in a blog post with the hashtag #TigercubHideout and send your blog link to tigersheds@tigerbox.co.uk along with a contact number. Entries must be received by midnight on the closing date of 29 August 2014. A winner will be chosen from the most imaginative and creative entries by the CEO and his wife.

Tiger Sheds Dream House

This was drawn by Mr K, 6 years old. His dream home contains many gadgets with lots of features. In the middle it sit a house, his door is controlled with an eye scanner and there is voice recognition throughout. The purple windows have automatic blind – it is so clever that it will know when to open/shut the blinds. Naturally, there is a remote control override. In the top part of the house, there is a robot that guards his house. It comes with security lights on the top with two large nets to catch any bad guys and two night vision CCTV on the side to look out.

Besides his house, he has a fighter jet, a train, a bullet train, a railway and train station for a choice of transport or a quick getaway. Next, there is a path heading to his private yacht/submarine.

He is the future child who wants to live surrounded by gadgets. Well, don’t we all already by and large? Our daily lives are filled with indispensable gadgets like the microwave, oven, washing machine, mobile phones etc. It’s difficult to imagine a world without them!

Love it! I love all the gadgets he has included. My son has drawn a dinosaur house which I really must remember to enter!
