Last month, I was picked by Come Round to host a Birds Eye party #FishFingerSandwich. It just happened to be on Father’s Day. So I invited a few relatives and friends over. I am no stranger to Birds Eye as we use plenty of their frozen products like fish fingers and grilled chicken.
A few days before the party, I received two packets of fish fingers and a party pack box. Inside the box, there were three packets of Funkin cocktails, 10 packets of Warburton’s sandwiches, oven gloves and other items.
On the day before, I baked a chocolate cake with my daughter and decorated it with a good helping of hundreds and thousands. Unfortunately, it didn’t go down too well and we ended up feeding the birds with it.
These are a few photos we took. As you can see, I have cooked Thai fish cake, crab sticks, eggs and all sorts of random food! We were also provided with a fish finger sandwich book by Jason Dearn. Inside the book, there are 51 ways of making yummy delicious fish finger sandwiches. But I decided to do it in an Asian way. I put Thai fish cakes, eggs and fish fingers into my sandwiches with chilli sauce! What’s your favourite way of eating fish fingers?
Funkin cocktails are 100% natural fresh fruit cocktail mixers. They are non-alcoholic. You just need to add alcohol and ice. Give it a shake for 10 seconds and your cocktails are ready! We tried the Mojito, Brazilian and Strawberry. I have to say Mojito and Brazilian are my favourite. They were very refreshing and smooth to drink.
Thanks to Come Round and Birds Eye for this fabulous party #FishFingerSandwich. With the recipe book, I now have plenty of ideas on how to use fish fingers! Also, thanks to Warburton for their delicious and soft sandwiches and Funkin cocktails for their goodies.
