KidSmart is an app designed to improve a child’s English, Mathematics and 11+ skills and it caters for aged four to eleven years old. The app tailors the experience to match the child’s pace and incorporates gamification to stimulate learning.
This app will be available from the App Store with a monthly payment plan. There are three different plans to cater to your needs: Primary, 11+ and Primary & 11+. The Primary plan is aimed at reception to Year 6, whilst 11+ cover topics on CEM 11+ / GL 11+. As you may have guessed, the Primary & 11+ consists of both these plans listed above. If you have not heard of PJ Masks, it revolves around three six year olds, Connor, Amaya, and Greg, who lead relatively normal lives by day. They are neighbours, classmates, and friends. Today, Change4Life, the government’s biggest obesity-tackling initiative, will be launching a new campaign to encourage parents to get Sugar Smart with a free app! This is following revelations that four to ten year olds consume over 5,500 sugar cubes each year – which is the average weight of a five year old.
They hope through this campaign, it will educate both parents and children in avoiding lots of the ‘hidden sugars’ found in foods that are commonly available and enjoyed by children, so that they can make healthier choices as a family.
