Do you really know your family? Review

29 June 2024 by Eileen

Do you really know your family? is a competitive game full of amusing questions and silly challenges by ASM Games. It is suitable for ages 8 and onwards and for three to eight players.

Do you really know your family Review

It comes with printed instructions on the back of the box and 200 question cards (Challenge and Trivia). The wording is based on US English. It comes in a compact box that is great for travelling.

The object of the game is to be the first player to collect 15 question cards first. To play this game, each player takes turns drawing a card from the deck and follows the rules below depending on what card is drawn.

Do you really know your family cards

For the trivia card, the player who drew the card thinks of their answer to the question before reading the card out loud. The first person to guess the answer gets to keep the card. If no one is able to guess it, the reader can give hints until someone does.

For the challenge cards, the player who drew the card reads the challenge out loud. The player who successfully completes the challenge gets to keep the card. You are allowed to discard the card if the challenge is not completed or if no one wants to do it.

This is a great game as an icebreaker for extended family to play along. It is also a great opportunity to see who really knows the family best. It can spark interesting conversations. All the questions are appropriate for a family setting. It is available to buy from Amazon.

Disclosure: I received this board game through ComeRoundUK (November 2023) for free. However, they have not paid me for this review, and they do not exercise any editorial control over my review or anything else on this site. All thoughts and opinions remain our own. We have included an Amazon affiliate link to the product. If you click on this and buy, we may earn a small commission but at no additional cost to you. #ad #CommissionsEarned
