This coming Tuesday 24th May 2016 celebrates National Bedwetting Day. This is to raise awareness for everyone that bedwetting is nobody’s fault, it can and it should be treated. LloydsPharmacy have put up a bedwetting post on their website to explain to parents that they can talk about the subject to support their children and each other.
Fish Mobile
This is a very easy craft that we made during the Easter holiday break. Both of my children love fishes and so we decided to make this fish mobile to hang it in our conservatory. We spent at least 20 minutes to colour all the fishes and took me around 10 minutes to thread them into this simple yet beautiful fish mobile.

Our Saturday Christmas Activities using Stencil
It was another gloomy Saturday so we decided to stay at home to do art and craft and baking with the kids. It’s always a great way of spending family time together. At times, it can be quite stressful for me preparing the items before both children start pestering me. So I brought out all the stuff we needed the night before.
We started off making Christmas cards for our relatives in Singapore using a stencil to draw and write on the card. I still remember when I was very young we used to own a few huge stencils from Alphabet to Numbers. We used those with our school projects, posters and school bag. Now there are so many different types of stencils from letter stencils to cake stencils. After the kids finished using the stencils, they randomly pasted foam shapes, coloured paper and flowers on the Christmas card ready to send off to Singapore!

Moving Home with Children
Moving house can mean turmoil for every member of the family. The decision to move house is made largely by the adults, who then tend to focus on the practical aspects of it. The situation can be more stressful if there are children in the family, especially very small children. For them, it is a matter of a leaving their world behind. So, what must one do in order to make the transition as smooth and as close to natural as possible for the entire family?
The Little Crackers Drink Co Juice Drink Review
As an ex-nurse, I am always quite careful what I give my children and do read the label before I buy. When choosing drinks for my children’s packed lunch, the ingredients are always of concern – are they full of sugars, sweeteners, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives?
Reasons My Kid is Crying
There is one thing which has always made me wonder, why no one, even my mum, has ever told me why exactly children cry! This is not something that you can learn from a book but from the little person him/herself. It took me 4 years before I really understood why my son cried in all scenarios as he was then old enough to tell me how he felt. At times I was totally bemused by their behaviour.
Spider Girl doing Rock Climbing
Yesterday, we went out to Telford shopping mall and saw there was a free rock climbing activities. Mr K loves rock climbing and always wants to have a go. He loves to pretend he is a Spider Man. Luckily, there was not much of a queue and he started with the mini rock wall. Ms C was sitting in her pushchair and refused to join in but after much persuasion from Mr C, she went for it. I was shocked that she agreed to do it.
Walkers Mighty Lights Crisps Review
I had mentioned before that when I first came to England in 2002, my English ex-colleague introduced me to Walkers crisps and I never looked back. It is one of the best crisps I have ever had. It’s a scrumptiously thin crispy crisp. It makes my mouth water whenever I see someone eating it. Every crisp is always so well-seasoned and tasty.
Baking with Pyrex Flexi Twist Mould
We have been super active this Summer school holiday. Not only have we been out and about to many fantastic places, we have also come up with activities to do at home including baking! Both my children love to help and bake so it is great spending time with them teaching them a life skill.
Today, our relatives came and Mr K offered to bake a cake for our guests. His lovely aunty helped him along. I won’t bore you with how we bake the cake. It is quite easy to get recipes or pre-mix if you don’t fancy buying your own ingredients. Do take a look at Pyrex Moist Apple Cake for an example of a recipe. The Brick Castle baked this and her cake looks so delicious!
