Spider Girl doing Rock Climbing

26 August 2013 by Eileen

Yesterday, we went out to Telford shopping mall and saw there was a free rock climbing activities. Mr K loves rock climbing and always wants to have a go. He loves to pretend he is a Spider Man. Luckily, there was not much of a queue and he started with the mini rock wall. Ms C was sitting in her pushchair and refused to join in but after much persuasion from Mr C, she went for it. I was shocked that she agreed to do it.

Spider Girl doing Rock Climbing

She managed to climb half of the mini rock wall before she gave up.  She then went on to the next mini rock wall and tried it again. With greater confidence, she managed to climb all the way to the top.  As her confidence grew, she wanted to follow Mr K to climb up the taller rock wall.

To be honest, in my heart, I did not think that she would be able to do it.  But when she started climbing, I held my breathe! To my surprise, she was so quick and climbed up so much quicker than Mr K. I was so proud of my little girl who managed to achieve another milestone. Next time, I should not think of her as a little girl.  In fact, she is a big girl who is capable of doing a lot of things by herself. What an achievement she did today! This rock climbing is suitable for 4 years old and above. Ms C is only 92 cm and she managed to climb it. If you have any doubt, always check with instructors.

The other side of your Ms C that really stuns me. She is so princessy but has the courage of a lion cub. Very very impressed by her strong will.
