National Geographic Kids Magazine Review

2 November 2013 by Eileen

Mr K is at the age of being inquisitive about the workings of the world and wants to learn more about nature and wildlife. Yesterday, we went to Paradise Wild Park and he got so excited to meet the meerkats and have breakfast with the tigers!

The National Geographic Kids Magazine is everything an inquisitive young mind needs. Their mission is to get kids excited about their world. Inside this magazine, there are over 60 pages of interesting facts, pictures and information about the latest news about wildlife, games and puzzles. They also come with a poster, toy and fact cards in this November issue. Every issue will have different items in it.

Mr K was so excited looking at the photos and asked a lot of questions about the animals. He especially loves the volcano article. Inside the magazine, it covers a wide range of topics, about the environment, different cultures and animals. He also loves to enter all the competitions – there are so many to enter! He would love to enter to win Skylanders Swap Force and it took him 10 minutes to search for the five clues!

This magazine is easy to understand for his age and packed with a lot of mini activities for him to do. This is definitely a win win magazine!

There are 13 issues per year and each costs £3.30 to buy. If you subscribe to it, you only pay £28 with free delivery, saving almost 30%. The first 50 people who subscribe will also get gifts too.I would say it is suitable for age 6 years old onwards which is suitable for Mr K. Do check their website National Geographic Kids Online for games, reading about facts, fun quizzes, competitions, new movies and star chats.

Disclosure: We have received this magazine to do an honest review.

Hello!

Welcome to ET Speaks From Home!

Hi, I’m Eileen — a mum of two teenagers, aged 18 and 17, and a passionate lifestyle blogger sharing snippets of family life, creativity, and culture since May 2012. My daughter lives with visual impairment, and our journey together has shaped much of the heart behind this blog.

Whether I’m creating festive crafts, exploring Chinese traditions, or trying out new recipes, I hope to inspire others through everyday moments from home.
