The Little Crackers Drink Co Juice Drink Review

17 October 2013 by Eileen

As an ex-nurse, I am always quite careful what I give my children and do read the label before I buy.  When choosing drinks for my children’s packed lunch, the ingredients are always of concern – are they full of sugars, sweeteners, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives?

The Little Crackers Drink Co Juice Drink Review

The Cracker Drinks Co has introduced a great new juice range with a blend of fruit and fun, featuring a playful new character range called Fruitheads. There are no added sugar or sweeteners and each carton of this juice drink counts as part of kids’ five a day with 75% pure juice and a splash of water, providing a high fruit content of 75%. Passionate about bringing different flavour combinations together for children to taste, The Cracker Drinks Co put its heart into the art of blending to create a refreshing and alternative drink that stands out from the crowd and kids will be amazed by the fantastic blends and characters made just for them.

They are:

  • Blackcurrant & Cherry
  • Pear & Vanilla

Both my children enjoy each flavour and I do too. When I saw the flavours, I was not very sure if my children would be keen on them. Surprising they both loved it! Especially Ms C who has not tried pear juice before and is normally the fussy one. Both flavours are easy to drink, not very sweet nor thick and the flavour are very refreshing. They come in 200ml cartons which is just the right amount for young children.  Also the interesting packaging will sure add fun in their lunch box! These are available in packs of three (straws are included) in Sainsbury’s priced at £1.49.  It is about 50p per pack which is not too expensive. Also buying this juice, the company will contribute 1% of its annual net profits to Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity which supports families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
