Having owned a set of old fashioned analogue bathroom scales for a long time, it is a big step up for us to move to the digital world of bathroom scales! Having digital scales can make taking the reading easier. I still remember the days of having to crouch down and squint to try and take the reading. There is always good points and bad points about having a precise reading. Take my husband for example, he weighed x amount and he could not believe that he had put on weight. He insisted that he had a lot of added weight on, because it was a cold – he wore a coat, scarf and had his phone in his pocket. So he undressed himself and weighed again. He was instantly pleased that he lost 1.5 kg just from clothing and phone! So if you are as fussy as him, perhaps you should get yourself a digital scales!

I’m fortunate to be able to review the Digital Ozeri Precision II Bathroom Scale. This is a very simple, easy to use bathroom scale. It comes with 4 AAA batteries to install. The impact-resistant tempered glass is very slim and stylish. Each corner is smooth and is well finished. The silver plastic back frame does feel a bit cheap but for this price, I do think it is quite reasonable. It comes with a large bright LCD widescreen which makes reading the result so much clearer. There is no on/off button as it is automatically turns off to conserve battery life.
As this is made from glass, it does worry me in case I accidentally drop it. So I have to be quite careful where I place this. At the back of the scale, there is a small unit button to switch between Ibs, kgs and stone which is quite clearly labelled. It also comes with a two year guarantee. The readings are consistent and do not fluctuate between the first and second readings which I am very impressed with! You can buy them from Amazon at very reasonable price! I give this 4 stars out of 5.
