Why people are going to London to change their life

Why people are going to London to change their life

People make bucket lists, in a bid to ensure that when they get to the end of the road, they can look back and state that they had a life well-lived. A lot of those bucket lists always include travel, and I’m sure yours does too. Below we will look at some of the reasons why people are going to London in particular and how it changes their life.

Getting Extra Help this Summer with Laundryheap

Do you always feel defeated after coming back from holiday with mountains of unwashed laundry waiting at a corner for you to clean and pack away? This is what I always fear when coming home with a family of four, especially after a weekend away at the beach! The amount of sand we bring back through our clothing from holiday can fill up a bucket to make a sandcastle!

As our lives are already so busy, digital services that make our days easier to manage have soared in popularity, like online food shopping, online takeaway, Uber, etc., practically everything can be ordered to our convenience.

A Visit to Madame Tussauds London

It was 14 years ago that I went to Madame Tussauds London in Baker Street. I still remember I was browsing endless of beautifully made celebrities wax figurines alone in a big room. I am astounded that is has changed so much since then! The whole place is well laid out, spacious and they even have a ride and 4D cinema. I am very impressed.

Injured? Acupuncture Can Help by Regenerating the Nerves

This is a special acknowledgement and thanks goes to Dr (TCM) John Tsagaris and his London acupuncture clinic for putting this article together for us.

Injuries – either sport-related or accidental – usually affect the lower limb (particularly the ankle and knee) and are commonly seen in the elderly or people with an outdoorsy lifestyle.
Injuries can be caused by trauma, as a result of sudden impact or unpredictable movement, or can develop over time often due to continual use of the same joints or muscle groups.

TENA What is your Oooops moment?

Recently, I was invited to attend a TENA event along with others to learn about the problem of light bladder weakness, TENA products and share our oooops experiences. Bladder weakness is as common as mis-sending a text and more than a third (35 per cent) of women still consider light bladder weakness to be a taboo subject.

Super 4 Treasure Hunt In London

Last week, we were invited to test out the Playmobil Super 4 Treasure Hunt before it opened to the public on Monday 19th October 2015 right up to Christmas. We were also invited to be part of their promotion. As you can see, Ms C was very thrilled to stand next to Twinkle!

Ripley’s Believe it or Not London Review

Last week, we finally went to Ripley’s Believe it or Not in London. We have walked past it many times but have never had a chance to visit. Ripley’s is situated right by Piccadilly Circus Underground Station which has services from both the Piccadilly Line and the Bakerloo Line. Upon arrival at the tube station, use Exit 4 to Coventry Street. It is really easy to find!

Getting into character at Harry Potter Studios

Since the first time I watched Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 2001, I’ve been hook into this magical world or wizardry and witchcraft. I am not a bookworm and had not read any of J.K. Rowlings’ books but I did watch all the eight movies. On the other hand, Mr C had read the books and knew the story in much better detail than me.

I have been to BritMums live 2014

It’s been 12 months in the planning, but I’ve finally been to attend the Britmums live event this weekend! I bought the Britmums early bird ticket to make sure that I attended as I had always heard that the blogging conference was a superb event! So the day arrived and on Friday, I travelled alone to London Euston and managed to meet up with a couple of bloggers there. Arriving at the Brewery where the conference was held just before the event and there were already a huge group of people milling around there.

My 11th Year in UK

Today is my 11th year since I stepped into the UK. I have a lot of good and bad memories during these years. Reflecting on it, it has been a painful journey of learning as an adult. I was very well protected and looked after by my parents and was not very well house trained – I didn’t know how to cook a normal meal, wash clothing and do simple DIY.

Jakks Pacific Smurfs 2 launch party at Odeon

Last Sunday, we were fortunate to get invited to watch The Smurf 2 at Odeon together with Anna Marikar  (click here to read her post) and Blue Bear Wood. When I was young, I loved watching Smurfs cartoons with my sister and she had a huge collection of Smurfs figurines. Shame that my mother threw them away when we moved house. How I wish I could pass it on to my children as Ms C has fallen in love with the latest Jakks Pacific Smurf-tastic toys!
