Another month, another puzzle done! This time around, I have been piecing the panorama-shaped puzzle that I had bought from Erasmus Darwin House’s puzzle sales. This is quite an unusually shaped puzzle, I have had to use two white foam boards to make the base for the puzzle. I loved the scenery depicted in the picture, but it is quite inconvenient to physically move around to puzzle to piece it, especially as the puzzle is wide. It is not my favourite shape to do. Nevertheless, the end result is amazing!
Last month (June), I completed the Clementoni Panorama 1000-piece London night view within two days. It was quite easy to piece. When completed, it measures 98 cm by 33 cm.
I love the city of London! It’s such a culturally vibrant city. It has three of the top ten museums and galleries in the world. London also has over 170 museums with 11 national museums including the British Museum! I used to work in London and I do miss all the good food and entertainment. It is a great place to visit and to be a tourist but the hustle and bustle would take some getting used to if I ever had to live there again.
This month (July), I took less than 3 days to complete this Clementoni Panorama 1000-piece New York Brooklyn Bridge night view. It has the same overall dimensions as the London night view puzzle above, measuring 98 cm by 33 cm.
Did you know that the Brooklyn Bridge took almost 14 years to build? It was opened on 24th May 1883. This 19th-century engineered bridge was the first suspension bridge to use steel for its cable wire spanning the East River between the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. It was also the first bridge to use explosives during its construction.
I love the quality of the cardboard, which is thick. I would definitely buy this brand again. I have seen them sold in Lidi before, costing about £5 each. I did buy a few before, but never a panorama-shaped puzzle. If you like puzzles like me, do look out in their middle aisle. I have one more panorama-shaped puzzle to piece and I will update the post here!
