Ah, a new decade is slowly upon us, promising new beginnings and a willingness to look forward to the future once more. This decade has been quite the jam-packed one, perhaps even overwhelming, but all of that can reset and we can enjoy what the following decade brings provided we are prepared for it.

This Christmas season, we were excited to get help from Regina Blitz to reduce the amount of time we spend cleaning the house, so that we can enjoy the time we had saved to create great memories, like making handmade Christmas cards for our family and friends.
The market is flooded with vacuum cleaners and you may find it hectic to try and figure out which one to buy. You have to choose from brands such as Hoover, Dyson, Bosch, and others while you also figure out if you will buy a cylinder, upright, bagless, bagged, stick, cordless, corded or handheld vacuum cleaner.

Steel Wool, that object you’ve seen in the hardware stores, walked past thinking you wouldn’t want a woolly jumper made from it and forgotten all about. Many people over look it but it can actually be a great tool to have in your toolbox.
I love to keep a clean and tidy home especially when cleaning involves using no chemicals! We have been using e-cloth products for ages and always love their products. This year, e-cloth, the UK’s number one chemical free cleaning brand, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the launch of two new products: the Kitchen Whizz and Plus by e-cloth All Purpose Cleaner .
I love cleaning and most of my friends/regular readers will have notice that I regularly review cleaning products. Also, any visitors to my house will know my house is sparkling clean! Recently I received the Kärcher K4 Pressure Washer for review and I was so thrilled to find out that they also come in a kids version! Yes, a mini Kärcher pressure cleaner! How cute was that!
May is a great time for Spring cleaning as the weather is getting warmer and the days are longer. I have been busy cleaning the outdoors with the Karcher K4 pressure washer and now I am freshening up the house using Zoflora with the help from OXO Good Grips mop!
When is the last time you cleaned your windows? I have to be honest that it has been almost a year since I cleaned ours! I do hate cleaning windows as it takes a long time to do properly. Firstly, you have to wash it with warm soapy water, then wipe the water away and finish by using a dry cloth to make sure there is no water mark left on the window. In the end, I will end up with 2 buckets of water, 2 cloths and maybe a paper towel!
Using harsh chemicals are not only harmful to your hands/skin but also your body, especially if you suffer from allergies. E-cloth has a great alternative, by achieving a deeper clean using just water. It works by using millions of clever tiny fibres that break up, trap and absorb grease, dirt and remove over 99% of bacteria using just water. The brand’s smart products are perfect for families. Not only can you save money on expensive cleaning products, e-cloth can save you precious time by reducing the effort required to remove stubborn dirt. Additionally, e-cloth has fantastic eco-credentials so you can achieve superior cleaning guilt-free.
Earlier this month, I and a few fellow bloggers were invited to an allergy awareness event hosted by e-cloth, the UK ‘s number one chemical free cleaning cloth in London with key speakers from Royal Garden Hotel and The Green Cleaner.
You may have seen from my previous blogs that I love cleaning my house and I have tried many products over the years. If you prefer not to use chemical solutions around your house, e-cloth is your best choice! They are kind to your family and the environment.
How does it work?
Each e-cloth has 480,000 strands per cm. By combining e-cloth’s unique fibre technology with water, the cloths breaks up, trap and absorbs grease, dirt and bacteria, which normal cloths leave behind.
E-cloth have a wide range of cloths and mops designed to clean all hard surfaces around the home with just water. I have received the Dusters and Window pack. Check out my review for the bathroom cloth here.
1. Dusters Pack
It comes with two dusters in the pack and they are approx 30 cm squared. They are very well made from 100% polyester, stitched around the sides and they attract the dust very easily. Simply wipe the furniture or ornament and rinse the cloth with water afterwards. It has a tag for you to hang up. I am very impressed with how well it attracts the dust. Afterwards, I hand washed the dirt away before I popped it in washing machine with the rest of the laundry. It came out looking slight dull due to mixing with dark clothing. Other than that, it still works very well!
I was first introduced to Durgol® a few weeks ago. To be honest, I didn’t know what they did and had to Google it. Durgol® is a leading Swiss company in limescale removal. They have products like limescale and detergent removers, scale inhibitors and coffee machine descalers.
We have received three products: Durgol® Cuisine, Durgol® Universal and Durgol® Swiss Espresso to put to the test.
