10 Uses of Steel Wool

Steel Wool, that object you’ve seen in the hardware stores, walked past thinking you wouldn’t want a woolly jumper made from it and forgotten all about. Many people over look it but it can actually be a great tool to have in your toolbox.

Kärcher Window Vac WV2 Review

When is the last time you cleaned your windows? I have to be honest that it has been almost a year since I cleaned ours! I do hate cleaning windows as it takes a long time to do properly. Firstly, you have to wash it with warm soapy water, then wipe the water away and finish by using a dry cloth to make sure there is no water mark left on the window. In the end, I will end up with 2 buckets of water, 2 cloths and maybe a paper towel!

e-cloth Deep Cloth Mop review

Using harsh chemicals are not only harmful to your hands/skin but also your body, especially if you suffer from allergies. E-cloth has a great alternative, by achieving a deeper clean using just water. It works by using millions of clever tiny fibres that break up, trap and absorb grease, dirt and remove over 99% of bacteria using just water. The brand’s smart products are perfect for families. Not only can you save money on expensive cleaning products, e-cloth can save you precious time by reducing the effort required to remove stubborn dirt. Additionally, e-cloth has fantastic eco-credentials so you can achieve superior cleaning guilt-free.

e-cloth review & allergy awareness

e-cloth new productEarlier this month, I and a few fellow bloggers were invited to an allergy awareness event hosted by e-cloth, the UK ‘s number one chemical free cleaning cloth in London with key speakers from Royal Garden Hotel and The Green Cleaner.

Cleaning with e-cloth

You may have seen from my previous blogs that I love cleaning my house and I have tried many products over the years.  If you prefer not to use chemical solutions around your house, e-cloth is your best choice!  They are kind to your family and the environment.

How does it work?

Each e-cloth has 480,000 strands per cm.  By combining e-cloth’s unique fibre technology with water, the cloths breaks up, trap and absorbs grease, dirt and bacteria, which normal cloths leave behind.

E-cloth have a wide range of cloths and mops designed to clean all hard surfaces around the home with just water.  I have received the Dusters and Window pack.  Check out my review for the bathroom cloth here.

1. Dusters Pack

It comes with two dusters in the pack and they are approx 30 cm squared.  They are very well made from 100% polyester, stitched around the sides and they attract the dust very easily.  Simply wipe the furniture or ornament and rinse the cloth with water afterwards.  It has a tag for you to hang up.  I am very impressed with how well it attracts the dust.  Afterwards, I hand washed the dirt away before I popped it in washing machine with the rest of the laundry.  It came out looking slight dull due to mixing with dark clothing.  Other than that, it still works very well!

Durgol Product Review

I was first introduced to Durgol® a few weeks ago.  To be honest, I didn’t know what they did and had to Google it.  Durgol® is a leading Swiss company in limescale removal.  They have products like limescale and detergent removers, scale inhibitors and coffee machine descalers.Durgol® Product Review

We have received three products: Durgol® Cuisine, Durgol® Universal and Durgol® Swiss Espresso to put to the test.
