National Spring Cleaning Week with e-cloth

25 February 2019 by Eileen Leave a Comment

In a week’s time commencing on Monday 4th March 2019, we will be celebrating the National Spring Cleaning Week. This campaign is to inspire and educate everyone to spring clean not just their homes but their lives as well! You may also hear this campaign called the ‘KonMari’ style where you choose joy and complete your tidying adventures!

Cleaning can seem like a mammoth task, but there is nothing better than a clean, streamlined and harmonious home. So let us embrace this annual spring clean with wide open arms!

National Spring Cleaning Week with e-cloth

Thanks to e-cloth, by just using water, I am cleaning my home without adding any harsh chemicals along the line! This is because e-cloth is using a clever superior fibre technology that cleans and removes 99% of bacteria in the home with only a wipe. There are a number of worldwide laboratory studies on e-cloth products that have confirmed the highly effective antibacterial action of e-cloths and though no chemicals are being used, this method still eliminates almost all bacteria, proving chemical-cleaning is no longer a must.

The secret is all down to their super absorbency and tiny fibre technology which provides almost magnetic cleaning power. These superior fibres in e-cloths are at least 100 times finer than a human hair! Also, each fibre is then split in 16 minuscule fibre filaments which are processed in different ways to provide different cleaning characteristics. The microfibres have the ability to attract and trap dust and dirt, and absorb fluids, far more effectively than conventional cloths and plastic polymer sponges. It is also the density and design of the fibres which ultimately determines their cleaning power and how long they last. We have been using e-cloths exclusively over the years and the materials are still as good as new. They last for ages and keep the place sparkly clean.

Did you know that e-cloth’s fibre technology in products offers cloths with a fibre count of 480,000 fibres per square centimetre? This is phenomenal cleaning power which breaks up grease and dirt without the need for toxic and costly chemical cleaners!

There is a wide range of e-cloths on the market and I have received the Deep Clean Mop, Bathroom Cleaning, Kitchen Cleaning, Home Starter Kit and Stainless Steel Cloth.

I love the Deep Clean Mop. It is so easy to use by sticking the mop head onto the base and it removes grease, dirt and bacteria with nothing more than water. It comes with a two-section aluminium telescopic handle and base. Once it is attached, it feels very strong and sturdy which makes cleaning easy. This mop is ideal for wood and laminate flooring. There is also a lighter Mini Mop with a smaller head which is ideal to keep in the bathroom. The heads are machine washable.

Next, I have the Bathroom Cleaning pack which includes a bathroom cloth that is extra thick and fluffy for optimal absorbency and a Glass & Polishing cloth for polishing all shiny surfaces. It removes greasy grime, soap scum and bacteria.  They works like a treat!  I love the amazing results after a good clean!

The Kitchen Cleaning pack includes a thicker kitchen cloth with a handy scrubby pocket to tackle spots of stuck-on dirt and grime and a Glass & Polishing cloth for polishing all shiny surfaces. It removes grease, dirt and bacteria. Occasionally the kitchen worktop will need a few more wipes before it removes the grease.  After a good clean, all the cloths can be easily wash in the washing machine and use it over and over again.

The Home Starter Kit includes a general-purpose cloth, a Glass & Polishing cloth, as well as a refillable 125ml water spray with a variable jet, has all you need to make the switch to quick and convenient chemical-free cleaning. This great-value kit combines e-cloth’s two best-selling cloths making it ideal for customers new to e-cloth.

Lastly, I tested out the Stainless Steel Cloth which has a dual-sided cloth designed to clean and polish all types of stainless steel. The striped side has firmer fibres which clean into the ‘grain’ of brushed steel while the smooth side cleans and shines polished steel surfaces. It is great for sinks, bins and appliances. I would suggest testing a patch of an area before you use it on the appliances, just in case, like any gloss surface, it might get scratched. There is also a Stainless Steel Cleaning Pack which comes with the cloth and Glass & Polishing cloth.

We have been using e-cloths and it is a brand to use and trust. I love their quality as they have never failed me. Their cloths lasts for ages and look as good as new after a wash in the washing machine. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. You can now buy them in good shops or e-cloth shop!

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
