Cert Cleaning Review

5 December 2020 by Eileen

How do you keep your home clean and your family safe from COVID-19? Not all common domestic cleaning products found on the shelves are equally effective in eliminating all types of germs. There are many types of bacteria and viruses in this world and not every product kills them all. But did you know that Cert, a hospital-grade product from UK’s leading manufacturer, is available to buy online now?

Cert Cleaning Review

This powerful disinfectant and all-purpose cleaner that kills 99.99% of viruses, uses the strength of disinfectant and detergent recommended by Public Health England. Cert is used by NHS, who rely on it for over 95% of products used in their defence against infection. Cert is manufactured by Hydrachem, a British company, which has specialised in disinfection for almost 50 years. Hydrachem has been providing Water Purification tablets and Baby Bottle Sterilising tablets to over 60 countries. We were so lucky to get hold of the products to help to keep our house super clean!

Cleaning is nothing new to me, I have been routinely cleaning all frequently-touched household surfaces, like door handles, mobile phones, and chairs. You never know what you bring in from outside to inside the house, especially now we have adopted a dog! Now in the current Covid climate, keeping my home clean has never been more important to keep everyone safe at home.

I have received the surface clean & disinfectant pack which comes with a Cert trigger spray bottle, 36 tablets (18 tablets per tube) and instructions. The tablets are an active solution made of 43% of Troclosene Sodium. Their 2-in-1 antiviral action disinfects and cleans 99.99% of microorganisms and viruses which is effective for 48 hours.

You simply have to fill the bottle with 500ml of water (I used filtered water as I have a filtered jug for convenience but you can also just use tap water) and add a tablet to make the cleaning solution. The solution will last for 48 hours. Initially, there will be a lot of bubbles on the top of the solution, and it is totally fine. The bubbles will disappear in a couple of hours. The solution does leave a chlorine smell for a few minutes, but it soon disappears especially in a well-ventilated room. No harm at all, but if you don’t feel well, remove yourself to fresh air.

You might wonder how you are going to finish the whole 500ml of |solution within 48 hours? Besides cleaning surfaces, you can use it to mop the floor, especially when you bring in all your reusable shopping bags. I used it to clean my tiled floor and mopped dry immediately to avoid watermarks on the surface. If used on other surfaces, it is fine to leave it to dry naturally.

Not sure where else to use it? If you are discarding any remaining solution, you could do so into a toilet bowl to clean your toilet of any viruses and bacteria! I like that the solution is so effective and that I’m able to clean every part of my house with it. I don’t need to use different solutions for a different part of the room!

I enjoyed using it as it is easy to use and I know it is a brand that I can trust. Now you can too, by getting it online! They also sell floor mops too!

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
