The FourFit Mini 2 is the brand new Fourfit kids fitness tracker with heart rate tracking and full colour screen. This is a very affordable fitness tracker with price starting from RRP£24.99. An ultimate adult fitness tracker with a smaller wristband that is packed with all of the same features!
The year 2020 has not been a great year for many of us, but there has never been a better time to take care of your child’s health. Get your child to stay active by setting them health goals via Fourfit Mini 2! I am thrilled to receive this Fourfit Mini 2 in black for Mr K and the older version Fourfit Mini in blue for Ms C.
Fourfit Mini 2 is suitable for aged 10 and above. It comes in five colour choices, which are black, blue, purple, aqua and red. As a teenager, black is a great colour choice for Mr K and it also does not attract extra attention to his wrist.
It comes in this small and well-presented box which can be simply gifted without wrapping. Inside the box, it comes with a fitness band and quick start guide.
To charge the fitness band, pop off the strap and plug directly into a USB socket. It only takes two hours for a full charge. In our experience, we do have to charge it every three to four days. The illustrations on the instructions are not correct so I had to pull off both straps to check for the USB plug. For the first few times, my husband and I found it hard to pull the straps apart for charging for fear of tearing the strap! We both were so worried that the straps would rip off as it was so tight. Luckily, it was well-made and we soon learnt the trick of wiggling it out. It is splash-proof and mud-proof.
This fitness band works with any smartphone. You are required to download the app via the App Store or Play Store. Both my children have their own smartphones and they can monitor or set their goals themselves.
Once you download the app, you will need to pair the fitness band with the phone, and by synchronising, it will set up the time and date. It is very straightforward to set up and didn’t take me long at all. The app is easy to navigate and I was able to access and read the data easily. You can synchronise the fitness band to the phone app whenever you want as all the data will be stored on the watch until you synchronise.
This smart looking fitness band is packed with so many useful features and it is the only children’s fitness tracker to include heart rate tracking as standard. Ms C is quite jealous as she didn’t have this feature on hers.
It does have sleep tracking, including what time they fell asleep if the fitness band is worn overnight. It has activity level monitoring & tracking, lung health tracking (blood oxygen saturation), vibration smart alarm, get up & move reminder (vibrates and reminds the children to get moving if they have been inactive for a while), step tracking, heart rate tracking, blood pressure monitoring, calorie counter and you can easily find the fitness band from the phone app with the built-in anti-lose feature.
It also will show you message reminders, which is not useful for us as they are not allowed to bring their smartphones to school. It is easy to turn off all notifications via the app. It can also set an alarm and use it as a camera control (shake for selfie).
Mr K enjoys wearing it as it is comfortable, looks smart and he is able to access the information instantly. I love that this great quality fitness band has so many useful features and is selling at an affordable price. You can buy this via Fourfit website or Amazon in blue or purple.
Next, we are going to look at the older version Fourfit Mini in blue that was worn by Ms C. This fitness band is suitable for aged six onwards. The LED screen is slightly smaller than the Mini 2. The strap’s clip is also different.
It has a built-in USB charging capability too. As this fitness band is smaller, it only takes 45 minutes to be fully charged. On the photo, you can see that the fitness band’s metal contact is facing a different direction to the Mini 2.
This version has fewer features but is still packed with many useful trackers. It is able to track steps, activity, sleep, smart alarm, get up & move reminder, calorie counter and easily find the fitness band from the phone app with the built-in anti-lose feature. Overall, it is a good fitness band for younger children. Plus it does not consume much battery life! It comes in five colours: yellow, green, aqua, blue and pink. It is available to buy on Fourfit or Amazon in blue.
I would totally recommend Fourfit Mini 2 to anyone. It is a great fitness band for children that is packed full of essential features at an affordable price!
