Last week we were very busy and went to London for a mini break. While we were there, Anna Marikar (click here to read her event) kindly let me know about a Mr Muscle’s children’s cupcake decoration class. We were fortunate that there was a last minute drop out so we were able to attend!
Last Wednesday, I tagged along with Anna Marikar to Beano town at Southbank Centre to visit their Christmas Events. This is where they showcase the Christmas items for this coming December. One of the highlights for me was their latest bike! Doesn’t it look funky! These are the other things that caught my eyes for Christmas and I hope you all like what you see.

What makes cakes stand out? That would be the stand of course! Seriously though, without them, they would be so plain and boring. I previously had a cheap plastic cake stand and whilst functional, it didn’t add to the experience. So I was on the hunt for a new cake stand. Do you ever leak urine when you run, cough, sneeze or laugh? Since two natural births, I found that I have these problems but have not taken it seriously. I went to the doctors a couple of years ago and was referred to the specialist nurse. I was not impressed with their advice and had left it. Now, it has got so bad that I have had enough and want to sort myself out.
In 2005 I had laser eye treatment after 15 years of wearing glasses. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The treatment cost me over two grand and the surgery was over in about 10 minutes. Being glasses free has had such a positive impact on my life. Since then, I have been able to go swimming or diving without using prescription goggles, and take part in fitness activities without my glasses steaming up.Looking after my eye sight is very important to me now. I do not want to be called four-eyes girl: 四眼妹 again. That was my nickname from school.
Has anyone heard of Poster Friend? I had not until a lovely lady told me about it and allowed me an opportunity to review it. Basically, Poster Friend is a poster that uses your Facebook account’s images to make a poster. Instead of spending your time painting a wild forest theme on your wall, why not invest in wall stickers? I love the idea of wall stickers. They are easy to use and are reusable. We were already fans of wall stickers. We had a wall sticker train set on Ms C’s wall and the children’s names on their doors. The lovely people from Walls of the Wild has given us the Butterfly collection to review. There are a total of 15 stickers consisting of butterflies, a dragonfly and a hummingbird.
Both Mr K and I suffer from severe hay fever. Each time during the hay fever season, we both have to take anti-histamine drugs on a regular basis and use eyes drops. Last year, I took a home screen test which confirmed that I have an allergy to grass pollen. So my husband has to cut our lawn and I am also extremely careful to not go out when my neighbours mow their lawns.
