Fred The Obsessive Chef Chopping Board

20 August 2013 by Eileen 1 Comment

Presents For Men has kindly sent a Fred The Obsessive Chef Chopping Board for review. Don’t be fooled by their name – Presents For Men. They are a website that sell gifts, gadgets and accessories for men and women too. I’d recommend popping over and taking a look at their wide range of items.

Fred The Obsessive Chef Chopping Board

Are you as obsessive as me? If you are, I think we both found the right item! This chopping board is printed with a grid in inches, lines of varying degrees and with sizing for batonnet, allumette, julienne and fine julienne vegetables, as well as differing dice sizes. The back of the chopping board is plain.

Fred The Obsessive Chef Chopping Board review

It is made from beechwood and it is quite light. It measures 23 cm x 32 cm (A4 size) which is a nice size for a chopping board. I find the bigger grids particularly useful but it’s hard cutting to the smaller grids as they are too tiny! Or perhaps I need a professional knife to cut straighter.

I rate this 4 stars out of 5 as I am not sure how long the print will last or will it get washed away after a relatively short amount of time. This is a good piece of wood and it should last for a long time even if the print does wash off. This definitely makes a great gift for friends and family.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
