Did you know that protein powder isn’t only for muscle repair and growth or for supplementing dietary gaps in athletes, older adults, or those with dietary restrictions (such as vegans or those who are dairy-intolerant)? Protein can also support weight management. Because protein increases satiety, it helps you feel fuller for longer, which may reduce overall calorie intake and support fat loss while preserving lean muscle.

As I approach perimenopause, I have become more mindful about managing symptoms such as dry skin and weight gain. I was therefore really pleased when Naked Nutrition approached me to review some of their best-selling products, including Naked Collagen, Naked Whey, and Naked Creatine.
Naked Nutrition is a clean-label supplement brand founded in 2014 by former cross-country and track All-American Stephen Zieminski. Built on the belief that supplements should be simple, effective, and transparent, the brand focuses on using premium-quality ingredients with as few components as possible—so you always know exactly what you’re putting into your body.
Free from artificial flavours, colours, sweeteners, and mixing agents, Naked Nutrition products allow users to stay in control of their nutrition by choosing what to add and how to use them. Today, the brand offers over 100 products—many with three ingredients or fewer—while staying true to its original vision: empowering people to take charge of their health and fitness with pure, simple, and easy-to-understand nutrition.
Naked Collagen
Many people may already know that menopause—and the preceding stage, perimenopause—commonly causes dry, itchy, and sensitive skin. This happens because declining oestrogen levels reduce sebum (natural oil) production and decrease the skin’s ability to retain moisture. During this time, skin can lose up to 30% of its collagen, reducing thickness and hydration.

My advice: don’t wait until perimenopause to start taking care of your skin. Collagen supplements can be beneficial from your 20s onwards.
Naked Collagen contains just one ingredient: bovine hide collagen peptides sourced from pasture-raised cows in Europe. It comes in a 600g tub (around 63 servings) with a transparent scoop included. Each scoop provides 9.5g of protein and only 35 calories.

I love that it is completely odourless and tasteless. It dissolves easily in 250ml of water, smoothies, or hot beverages, and you can even bake with it. Naked Nutrition recommends taking it either first thing in the morning or before bed.
Chocolate Flavour Naked Whey Protein Powder
My son is currently focused on building lean muscle, while I’m aiming to lose weight. This product works perfectly for both of us, as it provides the essential nutrition needed to support different health and fitness goals.

The whey is sourced from small, non-GMO dairy farms, with grass-fed cows that are free to roam and raised without growth hormones such as rBGH or rBST.
Naked Whey is available in three flavours: unflavoured, chocolate, and vanilla. The chocolate flavour contains just three ingredients: whey protein concentrate (milk) 82%, coconut sugar, and cacao powder. It is ideal for those without lactose sensitivity; if you need a lactose-free option, their vegan protein range is worth exploring.

There are two sizes available: 450g and 2280g. I received the 2280g tub, which provides around 60 servings. Each serving delivers 25g of protein and 5.9g of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). The recommended serving is 38g (two scoops) mixed with 300ml of water, milk, smoothie bowls, or used in baking. It is best consumed in the morning, and/or before or after exercise. It dissolves easily and is very smooth when mixed with milk.
Naked Creatine
My son is particularly keen on building strength and supporting brain health—and creatine helps with both by maintaining a continuous energy supply to the muscles.

Naked Creatine contains just one ingredient: pure micronised creatine monohydrate, which is not derived from animal sources, making it suitable for vegans.
It comes in a 500g tub (around 137 servings) with a 3g scoop included. It is recommended to build up creatine levels in your system over the first six days, then reduce the intake afterwards. Creatine can be taken before exercise, after a workout, or at the same time each day. The maximum daily intake is 12g, which is around four servings.

It mixes easily with 200ml of water, sports drinks, smoothies, or fruit juice. It dissolve very well and drink well.
Conclusion
Overall, Naked Nutrition delivers exactly what it promises: clean, simple, and transparent supplements with no unnecessary extras. Whether you’re supporting skin health during perimenopause, building lean muscle, improving strength, or simply looking for high-quality nutrition to fit into a healthy lifestyle, these products are easy to use and genuinely versatile. I appreciate the minimal ingredient lists and flexibility to tailor each supplement to my own routine, making Naked Nutrition a brand I’d confidently continue to use and recommend.
