We are no strangers to the Monster High school characters. They are strange, scary and at the same time very unique characters! We have previously reviewed the Ever After High Ginger Breadhouse and Monster High Frightmares Aery Even fall.

Whilst there, they hope to witness the historic passing of the Crystal Comet at a hair-raising gala and monster skull-ebration, and along their way they will meet new beast friends carving their way in the big city: Luna Mothews™ daughter of the Moth Man, shines in a goth-moth inspired print with mesmerizing wings and an antenna headband that is cute as a bug’s ear!; Mouscedes King™, daughter of the Rat King; avoids looking cheesy in an Upper Beast Side dress with golden polka dots on the bodice, a gold foil tapered skirt and bright blue tiara; her mouse ears, tail and tufted fur are totally monsterrific! and Elle Eedee™, daughter of The Robots, sticks to clean lines in a futuristic dress with metallic belt/overskirt, dramatic print cape, bright blue shoes and scary cool headpiece.
At the scary Monster High school enrolled four new beastly friends. These ladies are half centaur-half unique monsters! They are: Pyxis Prepstockings™, Frets Quartzmane™, Bay Tidechaser™ and Aery Evenfall™. They are suitable for ages 6 and above.
Ever After High is a fashion doll that is a companion line to the Monster High dolls. However, Ever After High’s characters are based upon characters from fairy tales and fantasy stories instead of monsters.

We have received the Special Edition Gold Collection Stargazer Lottie doll which retails at RRP £19.99 on Lottie’s website. This is a collaboration with the European Space Agency. Stargazer Lottie was the recent recipient of the esteemed ‘Little Scientist Award’ award from Space.com.

Yesterday, we all had such a great DesignaFriend party at home with our little guests. It was very manic and messy at times. We have received Florence and Madison for our little guests to play with. All of them saw the dolls and just wanted to play with them. I had to keep separating them away from the dolls otherwise we’d have never been able to do our activities!

Chatsters is an interactive doll called Gabby which is suitable for aged 5 and above. Gabby requires 4x AA batteries (2 batteries on each shoe) which are not included. It comes with six interactive accessories (smoothie, cupcake, eye shadow compact, lipstick, Sprinkles and mobile phone) plus three additional accessories (hair brush and two hair clips).
Yesterday saw the launch of the Super Lottie outfit which is the inspiration of six year old Lily, from Ohio, USA, who created the winning design as part of a global competition, independently judged by the Brave Girls Alliance, earlier in the year. This is the first time that a crowd-sourced design by a child has gone into commercial production. As part of her entry, Lily was asked to define Super Lottie’s abilities. Lily’s response was one designed to inspire girls who play with Lottie dolls, to acknowledge and embrace their potential, and accept who they are: ‘Super Lottie has the power to be anything, to do anything, and to make the world a better place. She is unique and special in her own way’.
Last month, Lottie celebrated her two year anniversary having made her appearance in 2012 as the first ever ‘pro-girl’ doll. They are designed for girls aged 3 – 9. Lottie was developed with scientific expertise from leading British academics, alongside consumer research, to address parental concerns over negative body image, an increased perception of premature sexualisation, as well as a desire for a return to good old-fashioned creative and imaginative play.
