Barbie Saddle n Ride Horse Review

17 October 2015 by Eileen

Come and watch how Barbie rides her beautiful brown Tawny horse! We were thrilled when we saw how gracefully she lifts herself up onto the saddle and the horse walks away on its own!

barbie saddle n ride horse review

This Barbie Saddle ‘n’ Ride Horse comes with Barbie, a brown Tawny horse and a grooming brush. This is suitable for aged 3 and above.

Barbie comes with her own pink super safe riding helmet and brown boots which are both removable. She is wearing a floral shirt and top with a sleeveless denim vest. She is unlike the rest of the Barbies as she has a flexible hip that opens her legs to help her to sit on the saddle. She is not able to stand on her own. Her left gloved hand comes with an insert that fits onto the horse. You need to clip her left hand into the horse to prepare her for riding.

This lightweight beautiful horse comes with a pink head collar which is removable. She has a long silky tail that you groom with the provided brush. She is able to stand on her own. She requires 4 AAA batteries to operate which are not included. The battery compartment can be found under the horse’s tummy.

To see how Barbie rides the horse, simply clip Barbie’s gloved hand into the horse and push the button on top of the horse’s brow and Barbie will magically lift herself up onto the saddle and the horse walks away on its own. She rides well on hard floors, like tiles and wooden floors, but not so well on carpet. She does make a mechanical noise when she moves which is inevitable.

Overall I am very impressed with this well made toy. Ms C enjoys playing with her and watching her ride her horse. The RRP is £49.99 which is more than I would pay for but it is a good quality toy that is worth the money. It is available in good stores and Amazon. Do visit BeSupe.com for exciting videos and activities!

Oh wow, can’t believe the horse moves itself. Barbie horses are always great for imaginative play but this one looks great fun!

I love that! I used to have a horse for my Barbie and played with it so much.
