Save time with Vileda this Christmas

Every Christmas, I find it hard to look for the perfect presents for family and friends as there are so many gift ideas. But I found a great solution with Vileda!

If you are a regular reader, you may know that I love cleaning. People who come to my house always said it is immaculate.   Yes, I always clean and mop the house. I have a number of gadgets that are constantly in use such as the steam mop, handheld vacuum cleaner and washing machine. I always wish that I have more time to relax than just cleaning the whole house. Cleaning can take hours at a time! If only I had a helping hand, I could just relax and do more baking!

Christmas Activities with Vertbaudet

This Christmas holiday period, Vertbaudet has created a new Christmas activities page to keep children busy in the run up to Christmas. There are 10 different activities – if you run out of ideas, why not have a look at their activities page and get inspired. Create and pin it on Pinterest. Then maybe they could ‘show and tell’ it to their class.

Each of the activities comes as a PDF file that are straightforward to print out. There is an Advent Calendar, Paper Garland, Paper Pompoms, Letters to Santa, Colouring Pictures, Christmas Gift Tags, Woollen Pompoms, Bake Some Biscuits, Christmas Carol and Paper Stars.

Our Saturday Christmas Activities using Stencil

It was another gloomy Saturday so we decided to stay at home to do art and craft and baking with the kids. It’s always a great way of spending family time together. At times, it can be quite stressful for me preparing the items before both children start pestering me. So I brought out all the stuff we needed the night before.

We started off making Christmas cards for our relatives in Singapore using a stencil to draw and write on the card. I still remember when I was very young we used to own a few huge stencils from Alphabet to Numbers. We used those with our school projects, posters and school bag. Now there are so many different types of stencils from letter stencils to cake stencils. After the kids finished using the stencils, they randomly pasted foam shapes, coloured paper and flowers on the Christmas card ready to send off to Singapore!

Life is like a box of Tesco Chocolates

Christmas has come early to our house when two scrumptious types of chocolates landed on our doorstep this morning! I still can’t believe that November is here and soon it will be Christmas.  But it is no longer shocking to hear that people have starting to buy Christmas presents. It is always good to start shopping early! I will be sharing my Christmas list in my next post! Tesco have a range of affordable luxury chocolates created by master chocolatiers behind Hotel Chocolat and Harrods. They are priced from £4 to £20.
