Takenoko Board Game Review

This cute and adorable Takenoko board game is a strategic game set at the Japanese Imperial court. A long time ago, the Chinese Emperor offered a giant panda bear as a symbol of peace to the Japanese Emperor. Since then, the Japanese Emperor has entrusted his court members (the players) with the difficult task of caring for the animal by tending to his bamboo garden. The game is for two to four players and aged eight and above.

Games Night with giffgaff

We always love to hosting games nights and it was at least a year ago since we last spent quality time with our dear friends! Some of you might know that we went into rented accommodation then moved to our new home about five months ago. We are pretty much settled in now and getting into a nice, regular routine. This is the start of week 5 and Mr K is getting into his secondary school routine and Ms C is preparing for her SATS. It was a tough two years since we decided to pack up and move to a different county for better schools.

PuroQuiet Noise Cancelling Headphones Review

I am sure every parent wants to buy things that are safe for their children to use. The same goes for us. So I was delighted to learn that PuroQuiet headphones help protect children from hearing loss. They were developed by a father who realised his 10-year-old daughter had sustained Noise-Induced Hearing Loss from listening to music too loud, for too long. He found that there was no one addressing this issue adequately, so his family set about designing and developing the highest-quality, studio-grade, volume limiting to 85 decibels children’s headphone whilst still at an affordable price. Best of all, it can be used wirelessly via Bluetooth.

OKIDO Which Way Game Review

The OKIDO Which Way game is an exciting adventure game that teaches coding skills to children. Some parents with younger children might have heard of the OKIDO show on CBeebies, but if you haven’t heard about it, here’s a little bit of history about them. OKIDO started off from a children’s Arts & Science magazine and was later adapted into a preschool TV comedy adventure series that brings together creativity with science. It is very educational.
