The newest most mischievous Transformers line is growing! Now there are even more BotBots to collect! Thanks to Hasbro for sending the most beautiful box for us to have a sneak peek of these Series 2 collectables! Of course, they also set us a challenge to find the rare 3-star BotBots and post our time on our social media account. Challenge accepted!
If you don’t know what BotBots are, they are Transformers robots that are disguised as the stuff we use every day such as a pencil sharpener, plunger or a cupcake. BotBots are grouped into tribes, such as the Swag Stylers, Music Mob, Spoiled Rottens, Techie Team, Jock Squad, Sugar Shocks, Toilet Troop, Greaser Gang, Lost Bots, Backpack Bunch and Shed Heads. They are split into three different stars: 1-Star is common, 2-Star is uncommon and 3-Star is rare.
This Series 2 launch follows Series 1 which was launched earlier this year, and Series 3 is expected to launch later this year. For Series 2, there are a total of 60 new characters, including three new tribes (Swag Stylers, Music Mob and Spoiled Rottens) and 10 new rare characters (Prince Perfumius, Chic Cheek, Big Cantuna, Holey Moldy, Javasaurus Rex, Mocklate, Rock Swagger, Ol’Tic Toc, Grampiano and TP Itch).
Mr K did a one-minute unboxing video over on my Instagram account – please check it out! The box comes with an individual single blind pack for Mr K to do the #BotBotsChallenge to see how long does he takes to unbox the rare 3-star BotBots. He took his own sweet time of 9 minutes 52 seconds to check each character and transform them! He loves them so much and is very impressed with how the characters are able to transform into awesome items! It is like the proper Transformers but on a tiny scale and in their most cutest form! He found 3-Star Javasaurus Rex from the Sugar Shocks tribe.
Have you seen them yet? They are available to buy now in good toy retailers, online and Amazon. All the BotBots are very well made and well designed. Mr K loves having these on display and transforming them when the mood suits him and would recommend them!
