Robozuna Toy Review

27 April 2019 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Robozuna toys are finally here! Now you can create your very own android adventures and bot battles! This new Robozuna toy collection from Bandai will be loved by their super fans! We are thrilled to receive this superb collection and now it’s game on with these Robozuna action figures!

Bandai Robozuna review

Robozuna is a Netflix original children’s sci-fi fantasy series which started showing in 2018 and it is currently streaming on Netflix, CITV and YouTube Kids. It is about an orphaned 14-year-old boy, Ariston, who lives a nomadic life with his adoptive mother Feronia and their workbot Mangle. One day, Feronia is taken prisoner and she leaves Ariston a chip that upgrades Mangle’s intelligence and Ariston joins his friends’ Robozuna team while searching for a way to save Feronia and to break free their oppressed nation from an evil empire.

Bandai Robozuna Mega Mangle review

Mega Mangle

This is a 30cm, fully articulated heavyweight work-bot Mega Mangle. He is very well made and comes with lovely details all over. He is very sturdy while standing. He comes with an interchangeable battle arm which can be swapped between a flash welder or spinning drill-bit arm! To do so, you simply flip the right shoulder guard and pull off the arm to change it. Something to note is that you can only change the right arm and not both arms. The left arm is equipped with a battle blocker shield.

By pressing his chest button, you can listen to him speaking over 30 of his best-known phrases from the series and his eyes light up too! There is an on/off button at the back of his body and batteries are included. Mangle is a very loveable action figure!

Spark Action Figure

This is Spark and he is a 15cm finely detailed, action poseable figure with over 12 points of articulation. You can swap his arms with other Battle Action Figures.

By pressing the chest button, you can hear him speaking six phrases and sound functions and watch him light up. He is armed with a taser jab which is more for the look than for function. There are four characters to collect!

Battle ‘N’ Build Series 1

These come in a single pack or multipack. The single pack comes with its own cages for display and storage which can even connect to create a super-bot battle arena by collecting and building 12 of these. We managed to get Mangle and Clout and there are 24 to collect for this series. To battle, simply twist for action! What I like about this single pack is that you are able to select the figure you want to collect. It is unlike those mystery packs where you just don’t know what you are getting!

We also received a multipack which comes with four figures: Megabatabot, Gripper, Pounder and Mangle. Each figure is well made and both arms and head are interchangeable with the other Battle ‘N’ Build figures!

Both my children think they are great and enjoy playing with the figures, especially Mega Mangle! He is their favourite of all! The toys are available to buy from The Entertainment, good toy retailers and online. For more information, please visit https://robozuna.com/
