Nutmeg is Morrisons’ children’s clothing range which are affordable, accessible and filled with thoughtful details from non-slip soles to stop slides and spills, to big chunky zips for little ones to do up themselves.  Each comes with some great little details to make life easier.

This was our first time trying the Nutmeg clothes range and we are impressed with the quality of the clothing and the prices are very reasonable. It is not a huge range of clothing but most of their designs are very fashionable, cute and stylish.

We have received a set of clothing for Ms C and Mr K to try. They both immediately fell in love with the items. The materials are incurably soft to touch and comes with eye catching designs.  The clothing feels true to size and fits both of them well.

Recently, Chatham have unveiled a range of vibrant summer deck shoes for children.  Mr K was fortunate to receive a pair of stylish Henry Kids Deck shoes in navy and yellow to try out.  They are made from premium nubuck leather and featuring a non-slip rubber sole.

Last month, I was invited to Vionic Shoe event for a lovely lunch at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse in Birmingham. This was the first time I’d heard of this shoe brand – Vionic, and they have just been around in the UK for around a year in Shuropody and other shoe retailers. They are a very well established leading global maker of consumer and medical footwear. Now they are branching out to Europe. Their shoe is not only make your feet feel great but the shoes look great too!

Recently, I came across this men’s fashion range of Birthday Gifts Ideas’ vintage clothing which is great if you need to buy a gift to mark a special birthday! Birthday Gifts Ideas have this range of vintage t-shirts that are made from 100% pre-shrunk soft cotton with short sleeve and crew neck t-shirts. They are available in four different sizes: Small (34-36″), Medium (38-40″), Large (42-44″), XL (46-48″), XXL (50-52″). Mr C is generally a medium size and this t-shirt size is true to his size.

We have received six different designs of t-shirts and they have a good quality professional silk screen printed design that gives a smooth, soft and long lasting finish on the front. These items of clothing are suitable for machine wash at 40°C and I have washed them all. It survived the machine wash and tumble dry! They should be tumble dried at a medium heat. The printed designs are still intact with no crack or peel off after washing and wearing it.

As this t-shirt is made from cotton and Mr C finds them very comfortable to wear. The only annoying thing is the labels behind the neck area. I had to cut them all off as it irritates Mr C’s neck. It would be great if the labels were printed instead. Otherwise there is no fault at all. I think these are great products that you can buy it for your male family member or friends as a birthday gift. This is Mr C modelling the clothing. Recently, Barbie has collaborated with Mango to launch an elegant collection of chic, pop-art inspired tops. The collection starts from £12.99 and is now available in all Mango Kids stores across Europe.

We have received the Barbie sweatshirt which is in grey colour with evasé design. It has a rounded neck in cable knit, long sleeve with elastic cuffs and embroidered with sequins. The sweatshirt size available from aged 5 to 14.

This is our second year attending the fireworks at Tamworth castle grounds and once again it was a brilliant display. What more could you ask for when the event is free! Last year, we were lucky to not receive a parking fine, so this year, we parked at Ventura carpark and took a 15 minute walk to the location.

It was chilly but not too windy and it had stopped raining! We were all getting warm and cosy with our new Saltrock clothing. Did you know that Saltrock have recently grown, opening a number of new stores around the coastal parts of the UK and are up to lots of exciting new things?

Every October is the International Walk To School month where primary school pupils from across the UK join forces with children in more than 40 countries worldwide to celebrate the benefits of walking to school. Even though we have to drive to another village, I park at the local pub car park and walk to school. Some of the parents do that and we often chat while walking together to school.

As autumn is here and the weather is getting colder, my family were thrilled to try out Hi-Gear jackets from Go Outdoors. If you were given a choice, who would not want to design your own swimsuit? Both of my children were so excited to get to pick what they wanted for their swimming costumes from Surania website.

This is my first time I’ve come across the concept of design your own swimwear and I think it’s a great idea. It is great to have the opportunity to wear something custom made so that there is less chances for us to be wearing the same swimwear at the swimming pool or beach.

After we had a few days of nice weather, we thought summer was here to stay for a bit longer but the next moment, it turned cold with heavy rain! I am so glad to have this Trespass waterproof ladies jacket to get me through this horrible weather especially as I had it in time for our outdoor adventure to Conkers. It is a great jacket that keeps me warm and cosy.

This is my first time owning a Trespass jacket and I am already impressed with the materials and workmanship. It looks great even after being machine washed at 30°C. We went to Conkers and it kept me protected from the rain and muddy puddles!

The key trend this SS15 in menswear is going to be bold patterns and dressed-down. House of Fraser is currently working on a number campaigns with focus on Armani and Barbour brands. Both brands are leading the market with their bold choices of menswear.

My husband loves casual clothing and at the same time simple yet bold in colour. So he chose this Barbour Paisley print hawk shirt to go along with his black trouser and black lace up boots.

This half term, we have been doing all sorts of activities at home including painting, reading and cooking. We even designed our own t-shirt! 90:10 is a brand new fashion label for man, launched by Daniel Glatman who used to be the manager for British boyband Blue. The concept behind this is for men who consider themselves to be 90% Grown up and 10% not. Encapsulated within the brand’s message is some recognition for a guy for getting his act together but at the same time reminding him that that this doesn’t mean that he is now over the hill…far from it! People will interpret 90:10 in different ways and how it applies to them and that is all part of the fun. The intention is to start a positive and light hearted conversation with men by demonstrating that the brand cares about the same things that they care about.

Recently, I was put in touch with the lovely lady from Malcolm & Gerald (M&G). They have recently launched their online kid’s personalised clothing boutique. It was named after Malcolm the monkey and Gerald the giraffe, the beloved companions of Alex (aged 6) and Charlie (aged 2). They (the boys not the toys!) were the inspiration for the M&G clothing line. Their boys liked nothing more than clothes and accessories with their names on. Everyone who saw their boys wearing the M&G designs seemed to love them too. That is why they started the line to design more outfits for children that incorporate their names.

I ordered the clothing and they arrived very quickly. When I opened it up, they were packaged in a nicely wrapped cardboard tube with their logo printed on the tub. I love the idea of clothing coming in a tube as it gift-ready and saves you from wrapping it!
