This is our second year attending the fireworks at Tamworth castle grounds and once again it was a brilliant display. What more could you ask for when the event is free! Last year, we were lucky to not receive a parking fine, so this year, we parked at Ventura carpark and took a 15 minute walk to the location.
It was chilly but not too windy and it had stopped raining! We were all getting warm and cosy with our new Saltrock clothing. Did you know that Saltrock have recently grown, opening a number of new stores around the coastal parts of the UK and are up to lots of exciting new things?
They have appointed brand ambassadors – pro-surfer Andrew Cotton, daredevil cyclist Andrei Burton and family climber Jenna Goddard – who help Saltrock bring to life their mission of getting families to celebrate fun adventures outdoors.
As the firework event was in the evening, I decided to take a few photos of my family posing with their new outfit earlier in the day. These are us trying out our new warm clothing to keep us cosy and trendy on our days out.
This is my first time shopping with Saltrock and I am very pleased with their sales. I managed to get a few items for less than half price. Just like this surf flower t-shirt for Ms C. Doesn’t she look like a proper cow girl? She loves the material and the print. After washing, it still looks perfect.
We also have this coral pink zip-through hoody with fleece fur-lining for Ms C. It comes with Saltrock embroidery on the chest. It keep her very warm and she loves the fur-lining on the inside.
Next we have Mr K who is wearing the skull skateboard t-shirt and a corporate hoody. I have ordered a slightly bigger size for him (9/10) which should hopefully last him awhile. This pullover hoody is thick and is made with brushed back fleece. It’s a stylish black with grey hood interior, blue logo and comes with ribbed cuffs. This hoody washed well and is still in perfect shape.
Mr C is wearing this V-neck t-shirt which is currently buy one get one free along with the knitted grey sweater. It is versatile and easy-to-wear. The cable knit pattern and light grey fleck details also add a seasonal touch. Mr C is a small/medium size and we had ordered an M size which is slightly too big for him. So next time, we would probably get him a small size.
Finally, it’s me with the plain front red tee with cool design printed on the back. I love the print at the back.
Overall, this was a good shopping experience with Saltrock as they have plenty of sales and currently have a nice knitted winter clothing range. One of the days, I would love to check out their winter clothing in one of their stores!
