Yes, it is the time of the year to get yourselves an advent calendar to count down to Christmas! As part of the 2015 Playmobil Playologists team, we are very excited to show this Playmobil Christmas Room Advent Calendar 5496.
It is the Christmas season and it is time to enjoy your holidays with your family. This Christmas Room Advent Calendar comes with an Illuminating Tree and contains twenty-four surprise items for each day leading up to Christmas. Not only that, it also comes with a beautiful cardboard backdrop which is easy to fix.
Once all 24 pieces are revealed, it is time to light up the Christmas tree for some extra holiday cheer! It requires 2 AAA batteries which are not included in the set. The whole set includes the backdrop, four figures, illuminating Christmas tree, presents, food, dog, instructions and other accessories to create a festive family gathering.
This is Ms C and me opening all the doors to show you what’s inside. Oops! I know! We are very naughty and just couldn’t wait to show you! Ms C was so enthralled with it, she kept asking to open the next one and the one after. She was so pleased with the whole set and has been playing with it all day!

This beautiful festive room has everything you need to create the most Christmas family gathering! Most of the items require fixing and also sticking. If you have younger children, you will probably need to help them. Ms C managed to fix most of the accessories. She only needed help on sticking the sticker which is quite tricky as they were very small.
Ms C simply loves the illuminating tree and has taken it to bed with her! It turns on with a press of a button. After a few minutes, it will turn off automatically to save the batteries. This looks lovely, the perfect advent calendar for any Playmobil fan. Love how it creates a scene to play with as you get the pieces out of each door!
