Button Snowman

10 November 2015 by Eileen

Do you want to build a snowman? Of course, we do! This is my eleventh challenge as a Bostik Blogger and this month’s theme is Snow. Once again, I have received a crafting box packed with coloured paper, ribbons, foams, Blu Tack foam pads, Blu Tack white glu and many more snowy themed items.

As we were provided this cute white snowman, we decided to use the leftover buttons to create this button snowman poster! This is so easy to make and is a great picture for hanging. The materials you will need are:

  • Blu Tack foam pads
  • Blu Tack white glu
  • Lollipop stick
  • Coloured papers
  • Buttons
  • Snowman foam
  • Christmas theme sticky foam
  • Scissors
  • Ribbons
  • Black or coloured pens

After school whenever we have time, we regularly do crafts or cook. Ms C loves her crafts so she is helping to design her button snowman. Firstly, she stuck the snowman on to a piece of coloured paper and buttons on the snowman using the foam pads.

img class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-16415″ src=”https://etspeaksfromhome.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/button-snowman-craft.jpg” alt=”button snowman craft” width=”680″ height=”510″ />

This snowman is more like a freestyle craft. Ms C is using her imagination to build her snowman and counting the number of buttons she used. Next she tied the ribbon around the snowman and gave him two lollipop stick hands. Finally she gave him a nose and mouth!

Now the button snowman picture is ready to hang and display! I am so looking forward to our last Bostik crafts theme which is Christmas!

These are the crafts we have done so far as a Bostik Craft Blogger.

    • Chinese New Year Paper Plate Drum
    • Valentine’s Day Hanging Heart Decoration
    • Easter Chinese Character Activity
    • Ocean Puppet Play Box
    • First Year Scrapbook
    • Cookie Monster Duck Tape Bag
    • DIY tissue paper baton
    • Frisbee Game
    • Fabric Pencil Holder with Peg Fairy
    • Halloween Paper Plate Craft

Disclosure: We have received a seasonal crafting box from Bostik as part of the Tots/Bostik Craft Bloggers Club. We have included an Amazon affiliate link to the product. If you click on this and buy, we may earn a small commission.
