First Year Scrapbook with Bostik

7 May 2015 by Eileen 4 Comments

This is my fifth challenge as a Bostik Blogger and this month’s theme is Scrapbooking. I have received a crafting box packed with coloured paper, ribbons, buttons, Blu Tack Pink, Blu Tack foam pads and many more.

As this month’s theme is scrapbooking, I decided to make two individual First Year scrapbooks for both of my children. Each page would be filled with a photo of them for each month. I would then get both of my children involved by having them design their front cover.

To make this scrapbook, I bought a photo album instead of a book. I chose to use coloured paper to fill the plastic sleeve instead of just filling it with photos so that I can write a message on it.

To make this scrapbook, you will need:

  • Blu Tack Pink
  • Blu Tack blue stick glue
  • Scrap coloured papers
  • Cardboard box
  • Scissors
  • Felt pens
  • Any other accessories

Method:

  1. Cut the coloured papers into the right size and use the Blu Tack Pink to stick the photo onto it.
  2. For the front cover, my children were free to design their own. Once done, slot it in the front plastic sleeve.
  3. Next write a message on the coloured paper next to the photo. Voila! All done!

I love the bright Blu Tack Pink – they look absolutely gorgeous! They are easy to use and sticks very well.

Ms C decided to randomly fill her front page with buttons, paper flowers, ribbon and all sorts while MR K prefer to spell out his initials on the front page. Lastly, I filled in their DOB, weight and the time they were born! This is such a great keepsake and now both children can look back on their photos easily as they don’t have access to my laptop for all their old photos!

Now we are already looking forward to the Monster theme next month!
