This is my ninth challenge as a Bostik Blogger and this month’s theme is back to school. Again, I have received a crafting box packed with coloured paper, ribbons, foams, Blu Tack Glu Dots, Blu Tack Glu & Fix and many more.
As this month’s theme is back to school, my daughter decided to make a pencil holder and to decorate it with the fabric that was provided.
To make this fabric pencil holder, you will need:
- Blu Tack Glu Dots
- Blu Tack Glu & Fix
- Fabric
- Toilet roll/cylinder tube
- Scissors
- Felt pens
- Woollen strings
- Stickers
- Wooden pegs
- Cover the toilet tube with the fabric using the Glu & Fix. Wait for it to dry.
- Colour the pegs and cut out fabric to make a skirt and wings for your fairy. Then cut six 5cm strands of woollen strings for the hair. Stick a glu dot on the top of the peg and add the woollen strings. Then decorate it with a ribbon on her hair! Next slot the peg into the dried fabric pencil holder!
This is my first time using the Glu & Fix and I love it. It is solvent free and very easy to apply. It takes at least 2-4 hours to dry. Once dried, it sticks very well.
Now we are already looking forward to the Halloween theme next month!
These are what we have done so far as a Bostik Craft Bloggers.
Disclosure: We have received a seasonal crafting box from Bostik as part of the Tots/Bostik Craft Bloggers Club. We have included an Amazon affiliate link to the product. If you click on this and buy, we may earn a small commission but at no additional cost to you.
That’s cute and lovely that she has a pen pot she made herself!
That looks great – love the concentration on your daughter’s face!
