Nutmeg Children Clothing

8 May 2016 by Eileen

Nutmeg is Morrisons’ children’s clothing range which are affordable, accessible and filled with thoughtful details from non-slip soles to stop slides and spills, to big chunky zips for little ones to do up themselves.  Each comes with some great little details to make life easier.

This was our first time trying the Nutmeg clothes range and we are impressed with the quality of the clothing and the prices are very reasonable. It is not a huge range of clothing but most of their designs are very fashionable, cute and stylish.

We have received a set of clothing for Ms C and Mr K to try. They both immediately fell in love with the items. The materials are incurably soft to touch and comes with eye catching designs.  The clothing feels true to size and fits both of them well.

Ms C is wearing this pink t-shirt and a flowery short skirt. The t-shirt is soft and has no back neck label. The design is cute and the print looks nice. It is an ice cream cone with the words “Happy Sunny Days” printed. After wash, the print is still intact and it still looks bright and colourful.  It hasn’t shrunk and hasn’t creased. The skirt comes in a pair, along with a plain pink one (not in photo).  The elastic around the waist is comfortable for her.

Mr K is wearing the blue hoody lightweight jacket and short jeans.  The jacket comes in two tones colours: dark and light blue. It comes with wrist cuffs and is also along the waist.  The material is soft to touch and comes with a big zip. It has a pocket on each side. The short jeans comes with adjustable waistline which is designed to fit 8 – 9 year olds. Mr K likes the stone wash effect and finds them comfortable to wear.  He is able to fasten/unfasten the jeans button and zip by himself. We have washed both of these items of clothing and they didn’t shrink or lose colour.

Overall, we love these items of clothing. They are fashionable, fun and comes with reasonable price tags. I would definitely buy them again.

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

Your two look great in their clothes, nice bright summery colours too! I live a 2 min walk from Morrisons but unfortunately we don’t have any Nutmeg clothes, will have to look out for them in other stores.
