Who Did It? Game Review

30 August 2018 by Eileen 1 Comment

Who Did It is a simple, fast and fun card travel game where players race to get rid of their cards so that they can avoid the blame for owning the animal that pooped. This game is suitable for six year old & above, and for three to six players.

This card game comes in a compact magnet rectangular box. Inside the box, there are 36 cards (six animals in six colours), 13 poop tokens and instructions.

The six animals are: cat, parrot, rabbit, hamster, fish and tortoise. I do find that pictures of the rabbit, hamster and cat are too similar and more difficult to differentiate at speed! We sort of agreed the animals by judging by their ears. The long ears animal is the rabbit, the pointy ears animal is the cat and the round ears animal is the hamster.

Each animal comes in six different colours: green, purple, red, orange, yellow and blue. Again, I do find the orange and yellow colour tones are quite similar. My daughter has mild colour blindness and it does affect her ability to identify the colours.

This game is very straightforward to play. Each player will pick a colour and take the six matching pet cards in their hands. The youngest player always starts the game by putting down the pet of their choice. Then they need to blame someone else’s animals. You have to act fast in this game by proving to others it is not your pet and pass the blame. If you fail to pass the blame onto someone else’s animals, then you will have to take a poop token! The game ends when one player has collected three poop tokens!

This is a fun family game that many young children will love, especially as judging by ours, they find poop tokens hilarious! It is available to buy from good toy retailers and Amazon.
