Breaking Norms With Modern Wedding Trends and Ideas

Most people consider weddings to be very traditional fare. One of the biggest draws to weddings is that we embrace old traditions and cultural specialities that make each wedding unique. However, those traditions will eventually be replaced by new and modern alternatives that completely change the way we approach our big day. So in this post, we’ll be talking about some of the latest wedding trends that could change the look and feel of your wedding.

HP Envy 5540 Printer Review

Over the last month, we have been taking part in the Mumsnet Instant Ink test, along with nine other bloggers, to try out this HP Envy 5540 printer for a month. As many of you will know, having a printer at home can allow you to get many things done. From printing money saving vouchers to photos and from printing copies of legal documents to children’s school work, we definitely can’t live without it in this household!

If you don’t already have a printer, you might be wondering what the costs of buying replacement ink cartridges are, but even if you do already have a printer, you might be curious how this HP Envy stacks up against yours. In fact HP have a really neat solution called HP Instant Ink which is a replacement service where the printer will know when it’s low on ink and will ship you new cartridges before you run out. You select your monthly price plan which includes the ink cartridges and delivery costs for as little as £1.99 per month and they take care of the rest.

Vtech DigiGo Review

We are thrilled to be part of the Vtech DigiGo Ambassador Campaign with tots100 and over the next three months, I will bring you some interesting news from Vtech.

We have received this Vtech DigiGo which is a hand held smart device for children aged 3 to 7. Both my children are pretty tech savvy and within minutes they knew exactly how to play it. It’s also helpful that we do own an InnoTAB 2 which we’ve had for a few years now.

Besides the usual features like taking photo and videos, playing learning games and using the multimedia player, this Vtech DigiGo allows your child to send and receive text or voice messages, photos, drawing and much more with (parent-approved) family and friends’ smartphone using the built in wireless connection.

Samsung K Zoom Camera Vlog Shop

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CollectiveBias

This is one of the most exciting #CollectiveBias vlogging shops I have ever done. I am so proud of my Samsung K Zoom that I would like to share three of my favourite features on the camera. Last year, I received this Samsung K Zoom phone for review and until now it is still my favourite phone.

Rhino Shield Review – Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Each time we buy a gadget with a screen, the first thought is to get screen protector and casing to prevent the new gadget from damaged. There are so many brands on the market and it’s sometimes difficult to decide which one to choose from. I used to buy cheap screen protectors simply because they were cheap. However, they wouldn’t last very long and after seeing a few demonstrations at the gadget show, I have totally changed my mind. Cheap screen protectors do not give you adequate protection from impact damage.

Rhino Shield has sent me their Samsung Galaxy Note 3 screen protector and a press kit. Inside this press kit, it comes with two gorilla glasses (as used on many mobile phones), two screen protectors, a 45g metal ball and a stone board. This is my video to demonstrate how I dropped the metal ball onto the unprotected and protected glass. I am very impressed with the result!

A3 Personlised Art Frame

Both of my children always come back home with their school drawings which would be nice to pin up or frame.  We often find that we have no wall or fridge space to spare to pin up their lovely drawings.  Then I came across My 1st Years who specialise in personalised baby gifts and one of those gifts is this beautiful white A3 Personalised Art Frame.

Our Entry Kids Capture the Colour Challenge

Following the success of last summer’s photo blogging competition Capture the Colour, Travel Supermarket has teamed up with Venture Photography to launch ‘Kid’s Capture the Colour’, an exciting challenge for children aged 15 or under to get creative and photograph the world around them.
I was the 101st applicant. Fortunately for us however, someone dropped outgiving us the opportunity to get a free digital camera from Travel Supermarket to get my children to capture the colours of red, blue, green, yellow and white while on their summer holidays.
The first photo is the RED colour. This is the shoe house in Wonderland Midlands theme park. My son and I stood on the steps while waiting for everyone to clear off before we took this shot. Luckily, we didn’t need to wait for too long. Inside this shoe there are a lot of children and the old woman. It is based on the nursery rhyme – There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.
