Cheerz Photo Review

13 March 2016 by Eileen

Do you take and post a lot of photos on Instagram or other social media channels? Cheerz has a mobile app for Apple Store or Google Play and their website Cheerz.com from where you can upload photos straight from your phone/computer, Instagram, Facebook, Dropbox and more to create fun photo products like their signature Cheerz Box (a cute little box filled with 30-45 Polaroid-style Prints), photo booth-style strips, magnets, posters, and more.

Did you know that if you use my special referral code EILTEF, you will get £4 off on your first order when you use the code (if you spend £8 or more) and I will get £4 credit in my Cheerz account for each successful referral! So do use it!

The website is easy to use to upload photos straight from my computer via Facebook. I have linked my personal Facebook account onto the website. If you don’t have Facebook, you could sign in with your email address instead.

Recently they have launched a few Mother’s Day products and so I picked the Mother’s Day magnets for my mother who came over to stay. This magnet set is available in sets of 9 or 18 and can be customised with filters and cropping functions. All photos are laminated and waterproof with a very long lifespan. They are packed in a cute little purple box to protect them during transport, which also serves as a lovely little gift. I uploaded some photos we had taken recently by a professional photographer in a studio. The magnets look a little over exposed which may have been caused by the white background so perhaps I need to choose photos with more colour next time.

Next I ordered the fun photo strip set which contains 4 photos on each strip and there are a total of 5 strips. Each strip is 20cm long and 5cm wide. The strips are printed on matte paper and can be customised with orientation, border colour, filters, cropping and text to make them unique to you. I again choose all white background and customised a few words on the bottom of the strips. Of course, you could select the different styles and font size for it too.

Lastly, I went for a Big Fat Box which holds between 75 and 200 photos in the style of your choice: retro or square. I went for retro cut with white background to add text and colour. This box comes in a lovely design and coloured ribbon. I love this, it looks brilliant! Again, the professional photos with a lot of white background makes the photos over exposed. So next time, I have to choose carefully and customise with orientation and text. I love the shape and size of these photos. It works brilliant on my noticeboard and looks unique.

All the items are made in France, from where they will be printed and shipped to you in the next day or so. They will also send you a tracking number via email to help you follow their progress. I received all items separately and within a week.

I do enjoy using the website and receiving the photos. These definitely make a great gift for your loves one or for you to keep. I love the boxes too as they look great. I would recommend them. So do remember to use the special code to get £4 off!

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review however all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
