Fairy Flowerpot Review

12 March 2016 by Eileen Leave a Comment

My Fairy Garden is a range of collectable activity kits designed to encourage an interaction with nature through play. This Fairy Flowerpot is their latest range. This can be used indoors or outdoors and is suitable for ages 4 years and over. This is available to buy from Interplay, good stores and Amazon.

Inside this set, it comes with a fairy flower pot, fairy figure – Blossom, mustard seeds and instructions.

The flower pot is made from plastic and it is very lightweight. It comes with holes at the bottom. So if you are using it indoors, you will need a dish to catch the water. The pot comes with a fairy door at the front of the pot where the fairy stays.

Blossom is the Spring Fairy and she is wearing a gorgeous pink dress. She is a well-made figurine and comes with a wide base for sturdiness.

We were supplied with a bag of mustard seeds which can be grown all year round, either outside in the summer months or inside in winter. They are great as they germinate quickly, grow within days and are edible. The taste can be very peppery, so best to sprinkle them on salads or pizzas etc.

I topped the pot with compost and let Ms C scatter the seeds. She is enjoying nurturing her flower pot and hope the seeds will grow into plants quickly.

This comes with an 8-page activity guide to construct the perfect living environment for your fairy. Inside it will show you some tips of how to create a fun and creative environment for your pot!

My daughter loves this flowerpot and enjoys looking after her fairy. I would recommend it as the quality and design is brilliant and good value for money.
