Recently, Ronseal set us a ‘Get on with it Challenge’ to encourage us to get the job done before the summer comes! I am so glad that I did it last weekend as we have put it off for almost two years now as the fence panels were looking rather dilapidated!
Disney Princess Wall Mural from 1Wall
Ms C is a massive fan of Disney Princesses and owns a huge range of princess costumes and Disney figurines. Having seven Disney Princesses on her wall and being able to sleep next to them would definitely make for one very happy little princess!
Nuffnang partnering with British homeware brand 1Wall offered us an exclusive product review. The founders of 1Wall was bored with plain traditional wallpaper and they decided to set about creating original and elegant wallpaper murals to help you style any room of your home. They are based in Blackpool. The company has had amazing growth and now holds numerous product licences, including those for Where’s Wally, Moto GP, One Direction, DreamWorks and Manchester United. Thanks to them for this fantastic chance to review it.
DIY Magnetic Chalkboard
Last year, I was sent an oak mirror but unfortunately the mirror part was broken, so I had saved the frame for any future use. Last week, BOSCH had sent me the IXO screwdriver to do a creative post. I decided to turn the oak mirror frame into a children’s DIY magnetic chalkboard.

This week I am featuring three different ways of painting.
Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh – Galt Toys
Last week, Galt Toys were looking to work with bloggers with young painters/artists aged between 5 and 12 years old to recreate Starry Night by Van Gogh. We were delighted to get chosen to blog about this fantastic artwork!
Earlier this year, Galt asked famous contemporary artist Ed Chapman to recreate Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe portrait using Galt arts and crafts materials. The result was stunning. Now they launched its very own ‘Mini Masterpiece’ series – 6 templates from famous works of art that little ones can print and decorate themselves, to create their very own mini masterpieces!
