Both my husband and son have been spoilt rotten this Father’s Day! They had received this gorgeous set from Spoilt Rotten. Both garments are carefully packed into this exclusive Spoilt Rotten gift box which is suitable for all occasions. What a truly unique gift!
This week has been so exciting as not only is the World Cup starting, it is also Father’s Day this Sunday. I believe most men would love to catch some footie and chill out at home. But don’t forget that they also deserve a gift from their partner or children to celebrating their day. If you have not got them any gifts yet, don’t panic! House of Fraser have a good selection of menswear gifts for the well deserved father!
I had chosen to get Mr C a 2 piece Skopes Hayle single breasted tailored suit. Skopes is a family owned and operated business established in 1948 by Sydney Cope. Their cloths are sourced from Yorkshire’s finest textile mills to produce high quality bespoke tailoring.
Thanks to Jacamo for coming to the rescue for this Father’s day. This coming Sunday is Father’s day and to get a gift for men can be as hard as getting a gift for a fussy lady! Especially for Mr C! He is a man who is happy with anything and can be a man who does not need anything. Well, of course, he can’t live without his phone! However, I already got him a Rhino Shield screen cover for his new phone. You can read my review and watch my video here.
Mr C had a quick browse of the Jacamo website and they have a good selection of menswear with accessories, sportswear and footwear. The downside is they have limited Small sizes available. Also do note that some items are dispatch by Jacamo and some are dispatched directly from the supplier.
Mr C has a small frame. One of my blogger friends called him a pocket size husband because he is so small. He always finds it hard to find a perfect fitting shirt. He had selected two shirts for his Father’s day gift.
Black Label Stripe Shirt
This stripe shirt is from Black Label which comes in regular length and size available from M to 5XL. It is machine washable and made from 65% Cotton and 35% Polyester. As I mentioned that Mr C has a small frame and wearing an M size is slightly big for him. Also the sleeves are too long and wide for him. Other than the size, the material and colours are excellent. It is very comfortable to wear and looks very smart. The ends of the collar fasten to the shirt with buttons and look very smart. Its great to wear with or without a suit.
It’s officially Spring time with us going forwards an hour this weekend! I can’t wait for the sun to stay a bit longer with us so that both children can get active and play outside as much as possible.
I like to de-clutter and put things away as soon as possible. If you know me well, you will know how quickly I get the house clean and get ready for the next season! I have to be honest, last year I managed to win at least 10 mugs via Twitter and now my cupboard looks like a collection of random brands. Also during Easter time, you tend to get Easter eggs with a mug! I can’t wait to get rid of some of them to a charity shop soon.
Now it is time for me to put away those old jumpers, thick coats and cardigans and think about my Spring wardrobe! I am not very confident in fashion but I’ve been picking up tips from reading Fashion blogs to give me inspiration. Now I am drawing a board for my Spring collection wishlist.
A reunion dinner is held on the eve of the Chinese New Year, during which family members get together to celebrate. It used to be dinner time where all family members gather around but due to work or other family commitments, it can be any time of the day as long as it is on the eve.
My mum is very particular that everyone is home on time and start at the auspicious time/hour. Since I moved to the UK and started my own family, I’ve adopted this practise this and hope I can pass on this culture to my children.
Mr C is a huge fan of Star Wars. When he saw this dressing gown, he was delighted – he couldn’t wait to unleash the force. Mr K was so jealous of his dad. He wants to be a Jedi too. This dressing gown resembles Obi Wan’s cloak from the legendary films, and any aspiring Jedi Knight will love it. It is well made with fine attention to detail. The material is 100% polyester fleece. It has two pockets, embroidered Jedi logo on the left side, large hood and big bell sleeves. It also comes with a sash belt. It is 146cm long that will fit adults size Medium to X Large. Mr C is 5 foot 4 (163cm) and the length of the rode touches on his toes. It is too big for him but it will keep him very warm and cosy with the fleece material. As it is made from fleece, it is bound to cause static. Besides being carefully of his light sabre, he needs to be careful he doesn’t get zapped by the static as it can be painful!
Kiddie Wow has kindly offered me one of Kite Kids’ clothing for review and I have picked this gorgeous little blue nautical dress for review.
