Ravensburger 100 XXL of The Muppets

The Muppets was one of the first comedy sketch shows I used to watch when I was young.  It was shown regularly on the Singapore English Channel.  I used to watch it every day and Kermit was my favourite but I did love Miss Piggy too.

GoClever Terra Android Tablet review

My husband and I always look for online deals before we plan any holiday and before buying any high value items like gadgets and electronics. Last year, we came across Bespoke Offers for the first time as I was looking for spa treatment and iTunes vouchers. At the time, they had a £10 iTunes voucher for only £5 – what a bargain! These offers are limited in quantity and once sold, they are gone. Recently, they had a half price cinema deal which unfortunately I forgot to buy until it was too late! So now, I always keep my eye on it and have signed on to their regular offer newsletter.

Woolly and Tig Book review

Woolly and Tig is one of CBeebies’ most popular programmes.  It is about a three year old girl (Tig) and her toy spider (Woolly).  Tig finds new experiences frightening and her favourite toy helps explain what is happening and provides empathy and reassurance to enable Tig to face unfamiliar situations with confidence.

Woolly and Tig have launched a range of toys, books, DVDs and an app.  We had recently reviewed the app, DVD and books. Random House have produced a huge range of story books based on the show about new experiences, sticker books and an activity book for learning.

VARTA Indestructible Torch review

I have not seen Mr C get so excited before as I was handing him the torch! He is like a school boy in a sweet shop! He couldn’t wait to test out the VARTA indestructible torch the moment it landed in his hands! He swiftly put in two AA batteries (included) and turned it on. The 1 watt LED light is very strong and bright. He was very impressed with the robust, nice looking torch. The on/off button can that found on the end of the torch and is easy to press. The head and rear cover of the Indestructible range is made of a resilient rubber to absorb the strongest shocks, while a high-grade aircraft aluminium-titanium alloy gives an extra-tough housing which is also resistant to sprayed water. It is robust enough to withstand a drop of up to nine metres – the height of a three storey building or two double decker buses.

Lego High Speed Police Chase with Wondergirl

Lego is one of my childhood favourite toys and it is also my 6 year old son’s too. Building Lego can be so much fun and we could easily spend the whole afternoon building houses, trees and much more.  It helps you be creative and imaginative and there’s a great sense of achievement! I have received this Lego High Speed Police Chase 60042 to review.

Pancake Day with OXO Good Grips

It is almost the time of the year to show off your flipping skills as Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) is fast approaching.  Shrove Tuesday is the day preceding Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.  In the UK, traditionally people eat pancakes on that day hence it is called Pancake Day.

Ignite Your Valentine’s Day

Durex Embrace Sex & Relationship expert has kindly shared their three top tips:

  • Loving touch:  Sensual stroking releases hormones that make skin and nerves more sensitive.
  • Take turns: Particularly for her, it can be amazing to concentrate on one’s own sensations without needing to return the favour.
  • Hold back: Introducing pauses in to the love act means passion builds physiologically higher, emotions zoom upwards and the climax is stronger.
