Personalised Slate Heart Cheese Board Review

25 February 2014 by Eileen

Last week, I was so excited when I received this stunning personalised slate heart cheese board! I’ve always wanted to own one but not because I love cheese so much. It is for Mr C – he loves his cheese and having this slate will look fab on our dinner table. It is his belated Valentines Day gift. This cheese board is from Presents For Men, check out their gift ideas department for more ideas!

Personalised Slate Heart Cheese Board

This cheese board is made from Welsh slate and is quite thin. The heart shape is clean cut with beautiful edges. It measures about 24cm x 21cm (at largest points). The surface is uneven which gives it a nice natural authentic look.

I had it personalised with words. You can have up to 30 characters for each side.  I made it quite simple as I didn’t want the cheese board to look too cheesy! LOL. The print on the slate looks very well printed and there’s no sign of it coming off at the moment after a couple of washes. It is very easy to hand wash too. We don’t have a dishwasher so I don’t know if this can be placed inside to wash.

I love this slate and I hope I can use and display it out as much as possible.  Now I have to shop for a cheese knife to complete the whole look and buy more cheese for Mr C. He has just told me that he lost 6lb (2.7 kg) due to regular badminton sessions. Well, I’d better buy more cheese for him to fatten him up just like me! I would recommend this slate to anyone. I think it is very reasonable and a great gift for your loved one or any cheese or food lover. It would look beautiful on a display table too.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

I’m quite surprised at how much I like this, I wasn’t expecting to. It’s a lovely gift for someone.
