Earlier this year, we reviewed the Alpha and Omega 3 DVD and Legend of Saw Tooth Cave is their fourth film which follows on from The Great Wolf Games. This is a 43 minute film which is great for the whole family.

This Halloween, Dixie is coming back with more spooky fun, in the sequel to ‘Daddy I’m a Zombie! If you have not seen the first movie, it is about Dixie who wants to be different and one night she is transformed into a zombie. She is a rebellious teenager who is unhappy with her life and feels that the whole world is against her.

Maya is a little bee like no other. Thirsty for adventure, she leaves the hive to live in the meadow, free like a bee! Recently, we received three DVDs for review which has come at just the right time to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays! For those days that are too hot or when it rains, we will usually catch a movie. We have received Back To The Sea; The Care Bears: Totally Sweet Adventure and Mumfies Quest. This is the latest DVD release of Horrid Henry and the King of Bling Volume 24 from Abbey Home Media.  Horrid Henry stories are based on the characters created by Francesca Simon, illustrated by Tony Ross and published by Orion Children Books.

Alpha and Omega 3 – The Great Wolf Games is the new American computer-animated comedy/adventure film.  This is the third film in the series and was released on 14^th April 2014 just in time for Easter.

We are fortunate to get a copy of the DVD to watch while both children are still off school.  This is a 43 minute film which comes with two special features: Great Games Amazing Maze and Wolf Fun Facts Trivia.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Mutagen Mayhem DVD will be released 31st March 2014 by Paramount Home Media Distribution with an RRP of £9.99.  The DVD lasts for 135 minutes crammed full of crime fighting adventure with five episodes from the second season of Nickelodeon’s CGI-animated hit series.  In this Season 2 Volume 1, you get to see the gang face new perils including robot foot soldiers, an infestation of mutated squirrels and the ultimate threat; Mutagen Man!

My children would so excited when they saw the new release Beano Dennis the menace and gnasher DVD.  They are now available in Amazon and all good retailers.  This is the Come Menace with Me Volume 1 DVD which was released on 10 February 2014.

Reef 2 is released on DVD, Digital and On Demand on 17th February from Paramount Home Media Distribution.  This sequel to the hit 2006 film heralds the return of courageous little fish ‘Pi’ who once again has to save his beloved reef. Troy, the nasty shark that Pi saw off in his last adventure has returned, and this time he has brought along his toothy shark friends for a ‘fish buffet’!

Earlier this year, we took both of our children to watch The Croods at the cinema.  Unfortunately, Ms C wanted to go to the loo after we sat in the cinema for about 1.5 hours. By the time we came back to our seat, the movie had finished! Though Mr C did explain what happened in the last 5 minutes, it’s obviously not the same as watching it for yourself. So when Mumsnet was look for reviewers, I was delighted to get picked by them so that I’m able to finish the movie!
