Getting presents for your loved one can sometimes be quite challenging! What about getting something thoughtful for people with cancer? If you have never stepped in their shoes before, you would probably find it hard to find the appropriate and practical things for those going through this difficult time.
This is how Cancer Care Parcel came about! It was started by Dr Shara Cohen, who herself was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013. Since her diagnosis, she found that a few friends felt awkward and avoided her, as they did not know what to say or react. She used her own experience and understanding to set up this website to let people suffering from cancer know that you are thinking of them.
As many will know, cancer impacts many people during their lifetime, either themselves or their loved ones. What better way to show someone you are thinking of them than by gifting them a Cancer Care Parcel to provide the much-needed comfort and support. They are packed with useful and practical gifts that will ease the stress of cancer patients where they often have little time to digest the gravity of what is happening and with many appointments to attend.
This wonderful gift website sells a range of thoughtful gifts to cater for different types of cancer patients. From radiotherapy to chemotherapy gift packs, newly diagnosed care to end of life, for young to old, man to woman and many more gift packs, prices start from £40 onwards. All the gift packs are carefully put together by their experts, and they also liaise with their advisory board, which consists of cancer patients and survivors and those receiving their parcels for their feedback and suggestions.
Their care packs’ contents are practical, relevant and relaxing! It does not contain religious items, shampoo or other hair products, food (although they may include natural sweeteners, food which helps with nausea or items which help with dry mouth or bad mouth taste), anything that makes claims to cure or prevent cancer and anything mentally or physically challenging.
The box that we have received was one of their most comprehensive gift packs: the Deluxe Male Cancer Gift Box. This pack is suitable for all men with cancer, at any stage. There are a total of 22 items to help sufferers deal with stress, get pampered, have fun and get motivated.

The super soft neck cushion will help you stay comfortable. Hands can get cold at any time but are patients are particularly vulnerable to the cold after chemo, so this cancer gift box has a hand warmer.
For the nausea relief, they have included the Sea-Band Anti Nausea wristband to subside the nausea symptoms without any drowsiness or other side effects. Also included are Peppermint Herbal Tea bag and Chocolate & Ginger Tea to help relieve nausea.

As you can see, this is a very well thought out gift that the recipient would very much appreciate. I would definitely recommend Cancer Care Parcel to anyone looking for gifts for Cancer patients. The items they have provided are good quality and not budget items. It was such an honour to review and discover Cancer Care Parcel and I hope many of my readers will give them a try.
