The very much loved Teen Titans GO! To The Movies will be available to buy on DVD & Digital download this coming Monday 26th November 2018 and will be available on Blu-ray exclusively at HMV!
To celebrate the theatrical release of Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, we were gifted an early copy of the DVD and to host a fun, Christmas themed home screening of the film! Thanks to Warner Bros, we also received an exciting bundle of goodies, including popcorn, masks and Teen Titans merchandise. We were all super-excited! We had watched it in the cinema back in August and loved it. There are a lot of funny moments for young and old and we found ourselves humming their catchy songs after the movie too.
As I’m sure you know, it seems all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies these days – all but the Teen Titans. Robin is bound and determined to remedy that situation by becoming a star instead of a sidekick. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their hearts, the Teen Titans head to Hollywood to fulfil their dreams. Things soon go awry, however, when a supervillain plans to take over the planet, putting the very fate of the young heroes on the line.
Will Arnett (“The LEGO® Batman Movie”) and Kristen Bell (“Frozen”) lend their voices to the first-ever big-screen version of DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network’s animated TV show, which also stars Greg Cipes (TV’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”) as Beast Boy, Scott Menville (TV’s “Spider-Man”) as Robin, Khary Payton (“The Walking Dead”) as Cyborg, Tara Strong (the “My Little Pony” franchise) as Raven, and Hynden Walch (TV’s “Adventure Time with Finn & Jake”) as Starfire, reprising their roles from the series.
The film is directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic and Horvath, based on characters from DC. Michail, Will Arnett and Peggy Regan produced, with Sam Register, Jelenic, and Horvath serving as executive producers. Apart from Arnett, all are “Teen Titans GO!” series contributors.
This is an 81-minute movie with special features – Storyboard Animatics: Time Cycles and The Final Battle. It comes with English, Castilian Spanish, Greek and Italian subtitles and in English, Castilian Spanish and Italian languages. It is available to buy now from good retailers and Amazon. We definitely recommend this DVD. It is hilarious and fun to watch! Both my children really enjoy it and it’s one of those movies that will be watched over and over again!
