Big Reveal Mystery Lego Minifigures Series 17

16 May 2017 by Eileen 1 Comment

Are you as excited as me to check out the mystery Lego Minifigures character from Series 17? Not long ago, my little heroes managed to save the day for the first eight Lego Minifigures and now look who’s back! The mischievous mummy is going to play tricks on a new set of unsuspecting characters and reveal the mystery character!

Lego Minifigures Series 17 review

Lego Minifigures Series 17 is available to buy now at retailers nationwide with 16 all-new characters to collect or trade. This adds new and exciting play possibilities to existing LEGO® sets featuring the Hot Dog Vendor, Elf Maiden, Butterfly Girl, Circus Strongman, Veterinarian, Battle Dwarf, Dance Instructor, Gourmet Chef, Connoisseur, Corn Cob Guy, Roman Gladiator, Rocket Boy, Pro Surfer, Retro Space Hero and the Yuppie, plus a mystery character!

Each minifigure comes in a sealed ‘mystery’ bag, together with one or more accessories, a display plate and a collector’s leaflet. Which character will you discover inside your bag?

In my first post, I revealed these eight characters: Hot Dog Vendor, Circus Strongman, Battle Dwarf, Dance Instructor, Connoisseur, Roman Gladiator, Corn Cob Guy and the Yuppie. Read more about it here.

Lego Minifigures Series 17

Last week, we received our second ‘Mystery Box’ from LEGO and once again, I adorned my tricorn hat, cape and black bandana on a mission to be the maker of mischief! This time around, I have received these characters: Elf Maiden, Butterfly Girl, Veterinarian, Gourmet Chef, Rocket Boy, Pro Surfer, Retro Space Hero and Highwayman!

So off I went and quickly mixed up the accessories and hid them somewhere ‘safe’ where no one would find them. Then I wrote out all the hints for my children to find!

To reunite the accessories to their rightful minifigure owners, my children had to read the clue cards carefully and work together! This time, it didn’t take them long to reunite all the accessories with their owners as they had studied the collector’s leaflet. They absolutely love these new characters and have a lot of fun playing with it.

LEGO have shown yet another set of strong and fantastic characters to the ever-expanding Minifigures theme. I also love that they didn’t reveal the mystery character which is a fun concept. My daughter loves the Butterfly girl the most as she comes with beautiful transparent pink wings and a branch of flowers. My son’s favourite is the Highwayman.

I’d love to know what you thought of the Series 17 characters and which ones were your favourite! Share your thoughts in the comments section!  For more information about the LEGO minifigures, check it out here: LEGO.com and LEGO social channels!
