Inateck 2-Port Rapid Car Charger Review

4 October 2015 by Eileen

I am a heavy user of my iPad so I bought a portable battery. Occasionally I do forget to bring the lightning cable with me though so I’ve not been able to charge it when I’ve been out. So I am delighted to to know that Inateck have this 2-Port Rapid Car Charger.

We are no stranger to Inateck! We use the HUB HB5001, Speaker and Bluetooth keyboard on a daily basis. They are reliable, easy to use and of course very useful! I’ve used these products for some time now and I’ve had no problems with them whatsoever.

This Inateck 2-Port Rapid car charger is suitable for iPods, iPhones and iPads that use the lightning port. Included inside this compact box is the car charger along with a micro USB charging cable. I love the smooth finish and white colour. It is sleek and very eye-catching. I do keep it stored away in the glove box though when not in use. It does come in a black colour if you prefer it to be more discrete.

It comes with an elegant blue LED indicator light which tells you if it is properly connected. Besides charging your Apple device, it also comes with two USB ports for charging other gadgets like a sat nav, tablet or phone.

I have not been on a long journey to give it a good run but in short tests, the charger was charging my iPad about 1% for every 2-3 minutes which seems on par with my standard wall charger

This car charger is made with premium ABS+PC fireproof materials, it features short circuit, over-watt, over-current and overheat protections.

This is available to buy on Amazon. To check out the product in detail, please pop over to Inateck. Do check out my review for the Inateck USB 3.0 Hub, Inateck laptop backpack CB1001 and Inateck camera case.
