Transotype LED Drawing Table Review

3 September 2015 by Eileen

If you like drawing, sketching or tracing pictures, this Transotype LED Drawing Table would be ideal for you! Or, if used with care, you could use this for other purposes too like a sensory table! This beautiful well-made LED drawing table is available to buy from Graphics Direct.

A4 LED Drawing Light Table Review

Transotype are a market leader in Germany and have launched this brand new LED drawing light table. It is slim and stylish standing only 1.3cm high. There are two sizes available: A3 and A4. It is very lightweight and easily to carry it around. Inside the box, it comes with the drawing table, a power cable and a carrier bag.

A4 LED Drawing Light Table

This A4 table measures 36.5 cm by 28.6 cm by 1.5 cm. The illuminated area is 30 cm by 22 cm which is slightly bigger than A4 size paper. They guarantee a lifetime of 50,000 hours of energy saving and long-lasting LED lighting. After using it for a fairly long time in one go, I love that it doesn’t generate much heat. The lighting is evenly distributed and flicker-free.

A4 LED Drawing light table transotype switch

It comes with a dimmer switch dial at the cable. When it is connected to the mains, the dimmer switch is situated very close to the top right corner. The dimming is gradual and not like in steps like low, medium, and high. I quite like it but I often find that I have to make small adjustments to find my favourite setting. Our model came with a European two pin plug with a UK adaptor.

A4 LED Drawing Light back

This is quite a simple and straightforward to use. It has an Acrylic surface which is very smooth and comfortable to lean on. Whether you are a professional artist or an amateur, you can take your drawings to the next level with this table!

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review however all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

This looks really interesting. I could see my son loving it for drawing and I bet it would be great for my daughters sensory play.
