Baker Ross have recently introduced a range of exciting crafts. We are thrilled to sample their products before anyone else! We have received their Halloween crafts collections which include the haunted house scratch art decorations, card top hats, day of the dead foam stickers and monkey stained glass hanging decoration. We had also received the Hedgehog cushion sewing kits and animal cross-stitch.
Each kit is well packed and some kits are also great for party bags. They are very well priced and great value. The kits are of good quality with full instructions and are easy to follow and make.
Haunted House Scratch Art Decorations
This kit comes with 8 scratch art decorations, card stands and 8 scratch tools. There are 4 assorted designs to choose from. After scratching the black surface, it reveals metallic effects which makes the haunted house so attractive! What a great craft to display at Halloween! Both my children love the metallic effects and had fun designing their own haunted houses! This is great for children to get creative and to further develop fine motor skills.
Card Top Hats & Day of the Dead Foam Stickers
This top hats kit comes in 3 sets. There are three parts to glue them together (top, ring and bottom ring). I asked my children to decorate with the foam stickers (or you can also use gems, glitter, feathers etc) before I glue them together. It took me a while to stick them together. Once it is all glued, it looks great! It lasts for a long time too! We made a couple of weeks ago and the hat is still very sturdy and tough. This top hat is ideal for fancy dress and Halloween parties.
Monkey Stained Glass Hanging Decoration
This comes with 6 monkeys (3 assorted designs), cellophane colours (orange, blue, red, purple, yellow and green) and colourful ribbons to hang them! I had to help the children to cut the cellophane into small pieces before they stuck them on the monkey. Once done and dried, it is ready to hang on the door!
Hedgehog Cushion Sewing Kits
This kit is really beautiful! Inside there are two kits provided and it is easy to sew and stick. My daughter really loves her hedgehog! She is taking him everywhere she goes!
Animal Cross-Stitch
Inside this kit, there are 5 different animals to choose from and plenty of threads provided. I am thrilled as both of my children are into sewing and this is a great kit to start them off. I had to guide my daughter all the way but after sometime, she managed to do it quite well. I am also pleased that the kit is very affordable. Last time, when I went to hobby craft to get a cross-stitch kit, they costs me over £8 for one design that was far to complicated for them! This is definitely a greater starter kit for younger children!
