Winx Club: The Mystery of the Abyss DVD

7 June 2015 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Come and join in the celebration of the Winx Club 10th anniversary with this brand new feature film Winx Club: The Mystery of the Abyss which will be launched tomorrow 8th June 2015. You can buy from all good retailers, Amazon or via digital download.

Winx Club are treated to 79 minutes of magical fantasy with the Winx fairies and it also includes an A3 size poster! Ms C was so excited and now it is pinned up next to her My Little Pony poster!

Winx Club The Mystery of the Abyss DVDThis was the first time we came across Winx Club and so we did not know much about the characters. Ms C was very excited after just looking at the box itself. The old saying “never judge a book by its cover” was definitely lost on her! She loves fairies especially pretty, sparkly fairies!

Anyway, the film follows the Winx fairies as they battle the Trix and the evil nymph Politea, who are both on the brink of gaining more power than they have ever had before. Politea with the help from the Winx Club, hopes to capture the magic Pearl of Depth to increase her power and she promises to share the wealth. So they must defeat the Trix but the Trix and Politea underestimate the Winx. However, Bloom is determined to win the magic Pearl herself, and rescue Prince Sky who has been captured!

Both of my children enjoyed the show especially my daughter who has already watched it twice. It’s a nice show to keep the kids entertained.

Disclosure: We have received the sample to do an honest review. Contains Amazon affiliate link.
