This afternoon, while I was busy doing housework, both my children were playing nicely together and I overheard this:
Mr K: I’m a policeman. Who is naughty here?
Ms C: Come and catch Father Christmas! He is stealing my toys!
They are so cute and imaginative. It was one of the highlights of an otherwise mundane day!
My daughter (3) loves playing my husband and myself against each other by saying “you’re my BEST friend” if she wants something…she’ll try me first [no, you can’t have any Chocolate] then straight to Daddy to try there loudly saying “Daddy is my BEST friend EVER”
Kids have the best conversations when they’re playing…
My two are so funny…
I love listening in to my kids conversations too – luckily they are all small so I haven’t heard anything I wouldn’t want to hear YET! My girls are great when they are playing ‘mums and dads’ with their dolls – they talk like me and repeat some of the things I say to them like ‘Now hold my hand while we cross the road’ and ‘Shoes off when you get in please!’ LOL!
