Monkey Visit the Dentist
It is important to keep your teeth clean and healthy. Part of that routine should involve visiting the dentist but this can be very daunting for children. However, Monkey is here to help explain it all through stories and activities. Monkey has a very interesting background as he was created by Helen Sadler, an ex-teacher, for her little girl when she faced major lung surgery.
Now Monkey is going to the dentist and explains his journey through the stories and activities. We have received this pilot copy (not finalised) of Monkey’s family visit to the dentist which explains in a child-friendly and engaging way what a typical check-up at the dentist may involve. Knowing what to expect will help children feel calmer and more relaxed when receiving treatment. In the back of the book, it also explains the big words in simple and easy to understand sentences.
